Day 1: Arrival Beijing
Arrival in Beijing. Meet your driver and transfer by private car to your hotel. Free time to rest or to discover the city at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. You cannot go to Beijing without visiting the Forbidden City, going to Tiananmen Square or walking the Great Wall. It is very easy to get lost and discover small restaurants, bars, grocery stores and even very nice shops. And why not take a ride on the famous shopping street of Beijing, Wangfujing street, located close to the Forbidden City. If you're curious, it's not the luxury shops that will catch your eye, but the insect market where you can eat scorpions, silkworms, spiders and other critters.
Included Free tour: Discovery of the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The Forbidden City is located in the heart of Beijing. We advise you to go there by tube. The subway in Beijing is very easy, fast and safe. The Forbidden City is the name given to the palaces of the Chinese emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties who ruled China from the 15th century until the beginning of the 20th century. The Forbidden City is China's most visited monument with the Great Wall. Discover Tiananmen Square where the crowd is still numerous. Covering an area of forty-four hectares, it can accommodate more than half a million people during major events. In feudal China, it was a "reserved place" to the Imperial Court, surrounded by a wall and forbidden to the people. It is so called because it is immediately south Gate of Heavenly Peace which commanded the southern entrance to the imperial city.

The Great Wall, which stretches more than 6,000 km long, dates largely from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, the Great Wall looks like a giant stone cordon of Chinese military fortifications erected between the 3rd century BC and the 17th century AD. The section that is open to tourists is about 2,250 meters (2,460 yards) long and is equipped with a world-class cable car, the first built on the Great Wall. The climb can be done on foot or by cable car (60RMB), the descent can be done on foot, by cable car or zip wire (60RMB), tickets to take on the spot. You have about 3 hours to visit the Great Wall. Return to Beijing, arrival around 16:30. Overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Once considered the "Pearl of Orient", the city embraces traditional European and Asian architecture and is a favourite point for foreign tourists. Look beyond modern skyscrapers and discover a more authentic and historic side of Ho Chi Minh City. Admire the important monuments of the colonial era, visit the city's most interesting history museum, and explore the bustling Chinatown for an introduction to local life. Included Tour: Discovery of Ho Chi Minh City, the Pulse of the city. Morning, meet your guide at your hotel and start the discovery of the city on foot. Ho Chi Minh City, formerly named Saigon, is the largest city and economic centre of Vietnam. It is where businesses converge and shoppers indulge themselves in unlimited choices. However, the city also carries with it a rich historical legacy in contrast with its dazzling glamour.
You will discover monuments of the colonial era, such as the Town Hall, the Opera, the Notre-Dame Cathedral dating from the nineteenth century, the magnificent Central Post Office and the Reunification Palace. Free time for your personal discovery. Private car transfer to the airport and flight to Danang. Arrival in Danang. Meet your driver and private car transfer to your Hoi An hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Hoi An is a charming historic town, bordered by the Thu Bon River. The old town is closed to cars, it is very pleasant to walk there, to stroll quietly from street to street. A particularly peaceful atmosphere emerges from this incomparable and unforgettable city. The ancient architecture of Hoi An dates from the nineteenth century and includes residential and commercial houses, temples, pagodas, and communal houses. Time for a break to enjoy the seaside during 2 full days. In addition to enjoying the joys of the beach, you can easily move by taxi or bike to discover this beautiful region. The road to An Bang is beautiful with rice fields where you can take great pictures. There is a very large number of restaurants, shops and bars. Vietnamese restaurants offer good small dishes including fish and seafood, at very affordable prices. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer in the afternoon to Danang airport and flight to Hanoi. Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, meet your driver for a hotel transfer by private vehicle. The driving distance is approximately 45 minutes. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Hanoi / Lan Ha Bay
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from your hotel to the Got terminal, Hai Phong town where you will arrive around 11:30 am (approximately 2:50 driving). You will see the longest and most recent bridge in the Southeast Asian region. Transfer by tender to the junk. Enjoy a welcome drink after check-in and cruise briefing. The junk starts the cruise and explores Lan Ha Bay - one of seven new wonders of nature.
Included Cruise: Located south of Halong Bay and east of Cat Ba Island, in the Tonkin Gulf, the scenery of Lan Ha Bay is similar to Halong Bay’s, but few boats explore this route: thousands of karstic rocks rise out of the emerald sea in an impressive way. Lan Ha is one of the most beautiful bays of Vietnam, very calm, bow-shaped. It is home of 400 islands and islets emerging from the sea, creating several beautiful coves. Enjoy a buffet lunch while sailing by the islets of the Con Vit area. These incredible limestone karst formations rise impressively from the sea.
In the late afternoon, the boat gets in the less populated area at Tra Bau where is located in Lan Ha Bay. You will enjoy the green emerald and cool water by swimming. Onboard you may join a traditional cooking class, where the chef will instruct you in the making of some Vietnam dishes. Then a sumptuous Candlelight Deluxe Dinner Set Menu is served. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you by the wonderful onboard catering staff. After dinner, you can enjoy the scenery of the bay at night on the upper deck or relax while having a drink at the bar. Overnight on board. Why not wake up early to witness the bay at its very best whilst enjoying an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck. After which breakfast is served. Upon completing breakfast continue your journey and head out to explore the bay. Progress to Trung Trang cave by bus on Cat Ba island which is located in the middle of Cat Ba National Park with Kim Giao forest around the cave. Trung Trang Valley is the largest valley on Cat Ba Island. The valley covers an area of approximately 300 hectares, has a depth of 10m to 30m and is around 15km in the middle of Cat Ba National Park. Trung Trang Cave measures 300m lengthwise through the mountains. The cave was carved by nature for more than 2000 years. The cave has many stalactites that take on various shapes that will awe and inspire visitors to use their imagination. Back on board. Whilst cruising back you can enjoy a delightful brunch. Tea Ceremony is served at the restaurant. You will learn how to enjoy Vietnamese tea and Vietnamese cultural at this ceremony. Joining Tea Ceremony with the crew's team. Return to the quayside in the south of the bay, where visitors disembark. Farewell at GOT ferry, this is the end of the cruise. Return to Hanoi and drop-off point in Hanoi. Overnight at the hotel.

Enjoy a stunning headland-and-bay panoramic view from the pass, which for miles hugs the mountainside along the shoreline and overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Continue to Hue. This ancient city enjoyed pomp and splendours but was also marked by the tumult of many wars, particularly during the last century when the Royal Citadel was almost completely destroyed. However, its renovation in recent years has restored all its splendour.
Included Tour: Discovery of Hue City (lunch included) Enjoy lunch upon arrival. Hue is the former Imperial Capital of Vietnam for the 1802-1945 period and the last refuge of Vietnamese feudalism. The city’s beauty is characterized by a natural scenic landscape and an extensive variety of historical relics You will be able to see: the Imperial Citadel of Hue, a well-known UNESCO-recognized World Heritage Site which is a 520 ha fortress-like grand complex built in the early 1800s and featuring three enclosures separated by heavy ramparts namely Kinh Thanh Hue (Civic City) as the outer, Hoang Thanh (Royal City) as the middle and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden City) as the inner. The Thien Mu Pagoda, overlooks the Perfume River and was built in 1601. The magnificent tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, located in the middle of a quiet garden and surrounded by ponds. Your day will end with the Dong Ba Market, a display of extravagant colours and local products, conical hats will allow you to blend in with the daily lives of Vietnamese. Overnight at the hotel.
