Your Itinerary —
During their tour, our members will follow the itinerary as seen below.
After a long flight, you will arrive at the nearly thousand-year-old capital of Hanoi. Your driver will meet you at Noi Bai Airport and transfer you to the hotel in the city centre. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi visits (B/L)
Breakfast at your hotel. Start by following the most well-known streets in the heart of the Old Quarter, then go through dark & tiny alleys having width fit one medium Vietnamese only. Curious, excited and want to know why local residents keep living as this? By stopping at a family has been living in the Old Quarter over 50 years and having interesting chat about their daily routine, you will learn more about local tradition, culture and lifestyle as well. Continue to Dong Xuan market, the biggest whole-sale market in the Old Quarter where you could find all the amazing and cheap buys ranging from exotic herbs, fresh fruits and veggies, sweet scented flowers to wooden crafts and decor. En-route is 2 stops for sampling the typical local drink and dish. The walk ends at O Quan Chuong Gate, the only gate of 5 gates surrounding the Thang Long citadel, survives as a proper "square gate”. Return to Hanoi & have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, return to Hanoi and you will visit Vietnam Museum of Ethnology which offers an insight into the 54 different ethnic groups of Vietnam then Temple of Literature, the very first university in Vietnam. Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, transfer to Ha Nam which located about 70km from Hanoi. Upon arrival after 1.5 hours’ ride, visit a local market and the village which is famous for its rice noodle and noodles. As this village has yet to be widely known by tourists, you will have the chance to enjoy its pristine beauty and culture with local people. It’s time to participate in their daily routine, learn about their rural life and chat with them to understand how their lifestyle is. Light lunch at your host with the product of the village. In the afternoon, continue the road to Ninh Binh (also known as ‘Ha Long Bay on Land’). After about 1h30 of road, take a bike ride on the countryside road to see the life of the locals. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to Nham pier which is still a little-known tourist site to take a traditional boat ride in the poetic landscapes of Hai Nham nestled between limestone peaks, and stop to visit the impressive Bat Cave. After that, visit the Bich Dong pagoda (Jade pagoda) located on the side of Bich Dong Mountain, Ngu Nhac Son Range. Return to your hotel to check-out then have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer to Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh. You will arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight in Ha Long.
Day 5: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (B/L)
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to the pier to board a private boat and start the cruising trip to the bay (which lasts for about 04 hours). We will visit one of the most beautiful caves of Ha Long Bay. After that, the boat makes a fantastic cruise to Thien Cung Cave and Dau Go Cave before reaching a fishing farm. Have lunch on board then head back to the pier. Your driver is waiting to take you back to Hanoi city. Stop on the way to visit an agricultural village. Arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon, check-in and rest of the day is free at leisure.

Breakfast at your hotel then free until transfer (no guide) to the airport for your domestic flight to Hue. On arrival, your driver will pick you up and drive you to the hotel.

Day 7: Hue - Imperial City (B/L)
Breakfast at your hotel then head to visit the Thanh Toan Covered Bridge. After that, transfer to explore the Imperial Citadel (World Cultural Heritage) including Hat Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Palace of Thai Hoa. Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, continue to Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the most famous landmarks of Hue. After that, transfer to King Tu Duc Tomb which is the most popular and impressive of the royal mausoleums. Emperor Tu Duc designed it himself to use before and after his death. Last stop at Dong Ba market.
Back to hotel to relax. Overnight in Hue.
After breakfast, check-out and you will proceed along one of Vietnam most scenic highways to Hoi An. Crossing the beach of Lang Co – one of the most beautiful beaches of Vietnam and the Hai Van pass, you will have a chance to contemplate a superb panorama of the central coastline at its summit. You will arrive in Hoi An after 03 hours ride. Check-in your hotel and relax on your own for the remainder of the day.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Optional: The worldwide known Golden Bridge
On the way from Hue to Hoi An, you will have the chance to stop at Bana Hills Cable Station, where you take the cable car to the main station (which takes about 20 minutes). Enjoy the time contemplating the Golden Bridge and then be free at Ba Na Hills to participate in other activities: walking, visiting the wine cellar, playing games that included...
Be ready at the meeting point before 4 pm for the downhill cable car ride and continue your car ride to Hoi An.
Day 9: Hoi An visits - My Son Sanctuary (B/L)
After breakfast at your hotel, 08.00 meet the guide for a visit to My Son Sanctuary, an UNESCO World Heritage site, 40 km southwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son once was a capital and religious centre of Cham people. With its impressive red brick towers and sanctuaries, My Son is considered to be in the same league as some of Southeast Asia's greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, and Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. The remaining towers and sanctuaries were built from the 7th to 13th centuries. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, take a guided walking tour around Hoi An Ancient Town. Visit the Japanese covered bridge, Chinese assembly hall, a typical Vietnamese merchant’s house, one of the interesting museums and the local market. The next visit is to home of a craftsman in the old streets. Here you’ll have a brief introduction to the history, shape and color of the lanterns as well as stages of making them. After that you can make a lantern by your own, decorate, pack and keep it as a souvenir of your time in Hoi An. Back to hotel to relax. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 10: Hoi An – Da Nang – Can Tho (B)
Breakfast at your hotel then free until transfer (no guide) to the airport for your domestic flight to Can Tho. On arrival, your driver will pick you up and drive you to the hotel. Check-in and rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Can Tho.
Known as the "rice basket" of Vietnam, the Mekong Delta offers verdant landscapes and a system of criss-crossed rivers.Take an early morning cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries by motorboat, we will see the Cai Rang Floating Market – the busiest but nicest one with heaps of rowing boats. See the beautiful scenery and daily activities of the locals. Return to hotel and have breakfast. After that, check-out and head to Vinh Long. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Long Market, the best place to take photos of fresh fish, prawn, shrimp, crabs, snakes, rice field rats, tropical fruits, vegetables ... Continue the boat cruise to visit the local workshops where you will see how to make rice leaves, coconut candies and popcorn. Enjoy some types of candies with a hot cup of tea. After that, take a walk to visit the orchard and stop at a local house. Enjoy some types of fruits and tea while listening to traditional music. Enjoy lunch in this fruitful orchard. In the afternoon, continue cruising along the Mekong River and observe many floating cages for fish farming. When passing the My An canal, you will have the chance to see many brick kilns on both sides before returning to the Hoa Tịnh canal. We will walk around the peaceful village to see how they make bricks, trays and bamboo baskets ... Then you see the process of hand making the conical hats.Meet our driver again and return to Saigon. Arriving at your hotel in the late afternoon, check-in and relax. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 12: Saigon – Depart (B)
After breakfast, check-out and visit the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral (outside), the central post office. Transfer to the airport for the return flight.

The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.
Transfers: Private air-conditioned transfers are included throughout. For the 4* hotel option, between Hanoi and Ha Long Bay you will have a shared bus transfer. For the 4*+/5* hotel option, between Hanoi and Ha Long Bay you will take a private air-conditioned car transfer.
