Your Itinerary —
Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by a local tour guide before being transferred to your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay. Overnight In Hanoi.
After breakfast, your day will start with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his stilt house, Presidential Palace and the One Pillar Pagoda. Continue your trip to Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam before having lunch in a local restaurant.
After lunch, the afternoon tour continues to the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology which focuses on the 54 officially recognised ethnic groups in Vietnam. Then take a cyclo (rickshaw/electric car) ride around the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, which were named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Back to the hotel to relax. Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, head out to Ninh Binh Province. Located around 90km from Hanoi, Ninh Binh is famous for its amazing karst mountains, misty caves, and historical relics. On this one day excursion, you will visit the must-see locations of Hoa Lu and Thung Nham. After a 2-hour drive, arrive for your first visit to Hoa Lu - Vietnam’s former capital before moving onto the remains of Dinh & Kings Le's Temples. You will have lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, take a bike ride on the beautiful countryside roads nested in the middle of rice fields and rocky peaks, reaching the small pier of Thung Nham. Following this adventure, get ready for a rowing boat trip along the crystal-green canals of the Thung Nham Valley. Stop on the way to explore the Hang But and Hang Ca caves. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
After breakfast at your hotel, check out around 7.30am to depart for Ha Long Bay – the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site where thousands of spectacular limestone islets and grottos rise from the clear emerald Gulf of Tonkin. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink on board your junk-boat.
You will then enjoy a fresh seafood lunch while
the boat is cruising through many stone islets, floating villages and idyllic beaches. You will have the chance to discover one of the world’s most wonderful locations and experience the most spectacular landscapes that not to be missed. Visit a floating fishing village, giving you the chance to talk and meet with local villagers. You will then have free time to swim or lounge on the sundeck. Dinner will be served when the boat anchors. Overnight on board in Ha Long Bay.

This morning, cruise towards Bai Tu Long Bay, then move towards Ha Long City to disembark the ship by 11 a.m. While being transferred to Hanoi, stop to visit But Thap Temple (weather permitting) before continuing to the airport for a flight to Danang. Upon landing, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to Hoi An to check in to your hotel. Overnight at Hoi An.
Today is at your own leisure with the choice of relaxing at your hotel, heading to the beach, getting clothes tailor-made in town or simply enjoy the ancient buildings filled with art and homeware - we also offer some exciting optional tours. Overnight in Hoi An.

An Bang beach: 4km to the east of Hoi An old town, this is a newly discovered beach hidden away from lots of tourists. To get there, you can take the taxi (about 10 minutes) or rent bicycles/Motorcycles to ride along the quiet narrow country roads. An Bang is a beautiful white sand beach where locals come to relax with their family and boast crystal clear waters and calm waves. An Bang Beach has been chosen as one of the 100 most beautiful beaches on the planet by CNN Travel and now is a must-visit destination for those who plan on visiting Hoi An. Although there are some bars along the beach, the beauty of this sandy stretch has been well preserved. It is a perfect place to rest and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Drive along the Hai Van Pass to Hue and visit the Imperial Citadel (World Cultural Heritage), Flag Tower, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynastic Urns, Forbidden Purple City, as well as taking a boat trip on the Perfume River.
After breakfast, you are free to explore Hoi An on your own until you are transferred to Danang Airport for your flight to Can Tho. Upon arrival, your guide and driver will pick you up and drive you to your hotel. If time permits, you may visit a local market and Ong Pagoda. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 9: Can Tho – Floating Markets – Ben Tre – Cao Dai Temple (B/L)
After breakfast, take a morning cruise along the small and picturesque tributaries of the Mekong by motorboat. you will explore the Cai Rang Floating Market – the busiest and most popular floating market in the region.
Gaze upon the beautiful scenery and daily activities of the locals, then pay a visit to a few local villages and visit a rice shelling mill. Disembark your boat at Ninh Kieu wharf and transfer to Ben Tre. You will have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit a beautiful Cao Dai temple and to witness a local ceremony. Overnight in Ben Tre.
The province of Ben Tre is a delta nestled in the two main branches of the Mekong. An agricultural and fertile area, this entire province is crisscrossed by a network of small rivers and canals. This allows for extensive irrigation that makes the province of Ben Tre a popular producer of rice, and a fascinating place for curious travellers.
After breakfast, check-out of your hotel and take your transfer to Hung Vuong Pier, where you hop on a motorised boat along Ben Tre River – on the of tributaries of the Mekong River. Enjoy sight-seeing lively activities as you cruise along the river including fishing, transfers and locals in thier every day chores.
Your first stop is at a brick kiln to see how locals make bricks traditionally by printing and baking. Continue to visit one of plenty coconut processing workshops located along canal. Return to the boat and glide through natural scissors creeks to a village. Here you will see local houses with their residents making sleeping mats. You will then take a motorised cart (tuk tuk) or bicycle along shady paths, passing by green rice fields and vegetable plains, giving you a change to touch on real life in this area. Have lunch at local a riverside restaurant.
After lunch, take a rowing-boat along beautiful water palm creek before meeting up with the motorised boat and transfer back to the pier. Your car will be waiting there to pick you up for the drive to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). If time & weather permits, you will visit Notre Dame Cathedral, the colonial districts of the city and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Saigon.
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy free time to explore the city until your transfer to the airport in a good time to connect to your departure flight.
Optional Extension to Phu Quoc —
This offer comes with the opportunity to add a 4-Night Beach Extension in Phu Quoc. Upon adding this extension, guests will follow the additional itinerary.
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by free time until you are transferred to the airport for a flight to Phu Quoc Island. Upon your arrival, you will be picked up by the hotel's shuttle bus. Spend free time at leisure. Overnight in Phu Quoc.

Pearl Farm Visit: This island is very popular for pearl farming so take a trip to one of the many farms where the locals explain how pearls are created and the difference between cultured and natural pearls.
Phu Quoc Prison: Also known as the Coconut Prison, this prison gives a unique perspective on the torture and life that Vietnamese Prisoners of War faced under the administration of French Colonists and the Republic of Vietnam. Closed after the country united, the prison was reopened to visitors in 1996 and is now held as a national monument.
Day 15: Phu Quoc Island - Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) - Departure (Breakfast Included)
Enjoy a free day at leisure until you are picked up and transferred to the airport for your return flight home (via Ho Chi Minh). Note: You must book the return flight (from Ho Chi Minh) after 16.00.

At 07.45, your guide & driver will pick you up at your hotel for a transfer to Hue. You will then drive along one of Vietnam's most scenic highways, passing Lang Co Beach – one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam and the Hai Van Pass – which offers a magnificent panorama of the central coast at its summit.
Upon arrival, visit the Imperial Citadel (World Cultural Heritage) where Kings of Vietnam’s last feudal dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945, including Flag Tower, Nine Holy Cannons, Ngo Mon Gate, Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynastic Urns, Forbidden Purple City, etc. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, take a boat trip on the Perfume River, visiting the Thien Mu Pagoda and Tombs of King Minh Mang adorned with oriental style decoration. After that, head back to your hotel in Hoi An.
