During their tour, our members will follow the itinerary as seen below.
After a long flight, you will arrive at our near thousand-year-old capital – Hanoi. Our guide will meet you at Noi Bai Airport and transfer you to the hotel in the city centre. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi (Breakfast and Lunch Included)
Get prepared for a unique experience when you will get to know about the cuisine of Hanoi, combining with a close testimony of the daily local lifestyle. 08h00: your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. After that, you'll become a Vietnamese in a half-day time by going to a local market, strolling through to buy fresh ingredients to cook, then prepare & decorate a real Vietnamese meal. Share fun moments together then enjoy your labour for lunch. In the afternoon, visit Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature & Vietnam’s first university). Constructed in the 11th century, the gardens and well-preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's past. Later on, head to the city centre to visit the Saint-Joseph cathedral, which was built in 1886 by the French under the episcopate of M. Paul-François Puginier. Stop at Hoan Kiem Lake before heading back to the hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi – Ninh Binh - Hanoi (Breakfast and Lunch Included)
Breakfast at your hotel,08h00: your guide and driver will pick you up and drive you to the nature reserve. Arriving at Trang An pier, take a traditional rowing boat ride to discover what is “Ha Long Bay on Land". Crossing numbers of flooded caves with weird names: Toi (dark), Sang (bright), Seo, Nau Ruou (alcohol distillation), Ba Giot (three caves) etc. Nowadays, Trang An has about 48 caves discovered. The boat ride will take about 2 hours. Lunch at the local restaurant. In the afternoon, take a bike ride to discover the ancient Bich Dong Pagoda and the surrounding area – the typical rural landscape of the Red River Delta. Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Please Note: For the Vietnamese New Year period (January, February, March), there are many Vietnamese tourists in Trang An so the above itinerary will be replaced by a visit to the Van Long Nature Reserve. Depart for the Van Long Nature Reserve, an authentic site, far from mass tourism and a completely natural landscape, 20km north of downtown Ninh Binh. Upon arrival, a rowing boat tour will take you to discover the Van Long Nature Reserve (the Van Long Biological Preservation Area), an exceptional natural site. The roundtrip ride lasting about 2 hours allows you to discover an array of great poetry, in a very quiet setting, with karstic rocks emerging from the water, plants everywhere and animals. Come to Van Long, you will find calm, far from cities, far from noises, there are only nature, birds, water, limestone, plants ... and you.
After breakfast, you will depart by highway to Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Upon arrival, welcome aboard. Enjoy a welcome drink before check in at your cabin. While the boat is passing many rocky islets, caves, floating villages and beaches, your lunch will be served on board with fresh seafood. Later on, the boat moves to a quiet area to dock for an overnight stay. Dinner is served on board. Overnight on board.
Day 5: Ha Long Bay (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)
In the early morning, enjoy the Tai Chi class, a good morning activity to feel in harmony with this wonder of nature. After breakfast, set on a day boat to cruise to Lan Ha Bay passing floating villages, islands and islets. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, continue cruising before returning to the main boat to spend the second night on board. Dinner is served on board. Overnight on board.
Day 6: Ha Long – Hanoi (Brunch Included)
After Taichi class, light breakfast is served. Then, the boat cruises through the bay see more islands and Islets. Check out and enjoy brunch on board. At about 11.00 – 12.00AM disembark and drive straight to Hanoi. Arrive at your hotel around late afternoon, check in and relax. Overnight in Hanoi. Please Note: - This itinerary is subject to change due to the weather condition and boat availability.- In-house English speaking guide to share on the boat only.
Day 7: Hanoi – Hue (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, free until transfer to Noi Bai airport (no guide) for the flight to Hue. Note: Check-out time is at 12:00 p.m. Late check-out is excluded. After landing, welcomed by guide & driver then transfer to the hotel to check-in. Overnight in Hue.
Breakfast at your hotel, you will take the road to visit the Thanh Toan Covered Bridge where you can admire the fields and portage. Return to the city centre, visit to the Imperial Citadel which include the Capital city, the Imperial city and the Forbidden City. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the imposing Thien Mu Pagoda, one of Hue's most famous sites and Ming Mang Tomb. Overnight in Hue.
Day 9: Hue – Hoi An (Breakfast and Lunch Included)
In the morning, travel to the ancient town of Hoi An along one of the most beautiful coastal stretches of Vietnam and over the glorious Hai Van Pass (or the Pass of Ocean Cloud) which offers at its summit a superb panorama on the coast of the centre and the beach of Lang Co – one of the most beautiful beaches of Vietnam. Stop on the way to visit the Marble Mountain (Ngu Hanh Son), a group of five hills, made of limestone and marble. Located 9 km from Da Nang, Ngu Hanh Son is a place of pilgrimage with caves, temples, tunnels and peaks. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue your road to Hoi An and arrive at around afternoon. Check-in and free at leisure. Overnight at Hoi An.
After breakfast, drive to My Son sanctuary. It comprises many Champa temples, in a valley roughly two kilometres wide, surrounded by two mountain ranges. It was the site of religious ceremony of kings of the Champa dynasty and was also a burial place of Champa royals and national heroes. The My Son temple complex is one of the foremost temple complexes of Hinduism in South East Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in Vietnam. Though the complex has been destroyed over time, you still see many majestic ancient ruins of temples in the area. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will do an easy walking tour to visit Hoi An ancient town, recently named as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Visit the Japanese covered bridge, Chinese assembly hall, a typical Vietnamese merchant’s house, one of the more interesting museums, and the local market. There’re numerous art galleries, souvenirs and tailor shops where you can get some express made-to-order clothes if you like. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 11: Hoi An – Hanoi – Depart (Breakfast Included)
Breakfast at your hotel then enjoy free time to go shopping or explore the city by yourself until transfer to the airport for the departure flight. Please Note: Check-out time is at 12.00 p.m. Please book the departure flight from Hanoi from 15h30.
