Day 1: Vientiane – Arrival
Distance airport – hotel: 3km (1.86 miles) = 10 minutes

Arrival in Vientiane, the capital of Laos, you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel for check in. Be free at leisure and overnight in Vientiane.

Note: Hotel check-in time: 14:00. Early check-in is subject to hotel availability and surcharge

Day 2: Vientiane (B)
In the morning, you will see the major temples including the oldest Wat Sisaket, a temple of thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. On the way to the famous, sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, we stop to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is Vientiane's own Arc de Triumph. Visit Morning market and walk along Mekong River bank for sunset view. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 3: Vientiane - Luang Prabang (B)
Distance Luang Prabang airport to the town: 5km (3.11 miles) = 15 minutes

After breakfast, you will proceed to the airport for a flight to Luang Prabang. Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. Landing in Luang Prabang, you're greeted by our guide and check in your hotel.

In the afternoon, we also enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city's oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple, we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore Street Night Bazaar, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 4: Luang Prabang - Pak Ou Cave (B)
For early risers, there is a very special dawn visit to watch the monks collecting the alms.  As the sun begins to rise, long lines of orange-robed monks leave their pagodas and walk barefoot down the streets collecting offerings from Luang Prabang residents.  It is a beautiful, serene ceremony that highlights the spiritualism of the Laos people.

Return to your hotel for breakfast at your hotel and then we visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign, and the Morning Market are not to be missed. Continue our city tour with the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai.

In the afternoon, we board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 5: Luang Prabang - Hanoi (B)
Distance Airport to Hanoi city: 29km (18.34 miles) = 45 minutes

After breakfast, you are free until transfer to airport for a flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, you will be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi (B)
After breakfast, the day starts with visit to the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh- the nation’s founder, containing Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (viewed from outside on Mondays, Fridays and every afternoons due to closure), and the house on stilts, One Pillar Pagoda. Next up, visit Tran Quoc Pagoda - Hanoi’s oldest pagoda on the bank of West Lake.

In the afternoon, visit Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university which was constructed in 11th century. Later on, we walk around the Old Streets which were named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Stop at Hoan Kiem Lake to learn about legend of the lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 7: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D/Local guide on boat only)
Distance from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay: 3.5hrs drive (140km = 87 miles)

After breakfast, you will depart by road to Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. Travel through the rich farmlands of the Delta of Red river and the landscape of rice fields, water buffalo, the daily life of the Vietnamese village. Arrive in Halong and board to board a traditional junk. Lunch on board. The cruise passes by many rocks and islets in many funny shapes. The cruise may stop for a while for visiting the Surprising Cave. Later on the junk move to docking area for ovenight. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 8: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi – Danang – Hoi An (Brunch//Local guide on boat only)
Distance Ha Long Bay – Noi Bai Airport: 4 hours drive (145km = 90 miles)
Distance Danang – Hoi An: 30km (18 Miles) – 45 minutes

In the morning, your brunch will be served while doing further cruise to explore the beauties of the Bay before returning to the Wharf. The junk continues cruising toward Ha Long port. Ready for disembarking. Our car will be there to pick you up toward Hanoi. You will drive straight to the airport for a flight to Danang. Landing in Danang, you will be met by our guide and transferred 35 kilometers further to Hoi An Ancient Town. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An Ancient town & Tra Que Village (B)
Moring is light excursion to go around the tiny town of Hoi An for city tour: 400 years old Japanese Bridge, 300 years old Chinese temple, 200 years old Vietnamese former merchants' house.

In the afternoon, you will drive to Tra Que Vegetable Village. Walk around a vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land, fertilizing it with seaweeds from the local lake, raking, sowing, watering greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities. Enjoy foot massage and then spend the rest of the time to learn how to cook ‘Tam Huu' spring rolls & rice pancake with your host. Return to your hotel late afternoon and overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10 to day 11: Hoi An (B)
Three free days for beach relaxing, doing more shopping or doing whatever takes your fancy!

Day 12: Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Distance airport to Ho Chi Minh City: 7km (4.6 miles) = 15 minutes

After breakfast, you will be free until being transferred (no guide) to the airport for a flight o Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our guide and check in your hotel. Then you will enjoy a half day tour of vibrant Ho Chi Minh City. Visit the Reunification Hall, formerly known as the Presidential Palace it was this modern building that North Vietnamese tanks seized on the morning of April 30 1975, as Saigon fell. This fascinating building is filled with history still fresh in the minds of many. Continue to the War Museum, Old Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
Distance from Saigon to Ben Tre: 108km (67.18 miles) = 2.5 hours

After breakfast, takes only 2 hours pleasant drive to Ben Tre province crossing Rach Mieu bridge. On arrival in Hung Vuong Pier, hop on a motorized boat on Ben Tre River – one of tributaries of Mekong river while sight-seeing lively activities along river as fishing, water transferring. Our first stop is at brick kiln to see how to make bricks traditionally by printing and baking. Continue to visit one of plenty of coconut processing workshops located along canal. Return to the boat and go through natural scissors creeks to a village and see some local houses making sleeping mats and enjoying some fruits.

Take a motorized cart (tuk tuk) or bicycle on shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains to be able to touch on real life and find out about tropical culture from peasants. Have lunch at local a riverside restaurant.

After lunch, we take a rowing-boat along beautiful water palm creek before meeting up the motorized boat and transfer you back to the pier. Return to hotel after a memorable day merging in Mekong Delta local living. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B)
After breakfast, you will be free in Ho Chi Minh City until meet our guide for transferring to the airport to your departure flight.

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct.  If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents.  You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, 'Meet & Greet', car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services.  Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.
