12-Day, 11-Night Tour
Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi
Touch down in Hanoi, the ancient capital of nearly one thousand years old. A guide will meet you at Noi Bai Airport and transfer you to the hotel in the city center.

Day 2: Hanoi – Highlights and Authentic village (B, L)
Breakfast at your hotel, and at 8.30am leave for the authentic Ngoc Ha village, one of the most charming residential areas in the throbbing metropolis. Walk along narrow alleyways, chat to locals, visit the morning market and temple, and see the historic Huu Tiep Lake, where a B52 plane was shot down.
A few minutes stroll away is the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder and affectionately known to the Vietnamese as “Uncle Ho”. Visit :
- The historic Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, an imposing monument built to serve as the final resting place of Uncle Ho. Please note : the mausoleum closes on Mondays, Fridays and all afternoons
- Ba Dinh Square, where president Ho Chi Minh read the Proclamation of Independence of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2, 1945
- Presidential Palace
- One Pilar Pagoda, the symbol of Hanoi City.
Get acquainted with Vietnamese culture and walk along Phan Dinh Phung Street, known as one of the most romantic roads in Hanoi. Spot historic buildings such as the North Gate and old French Colonial villas.
This busy day ends with a rickshaw ride in the Old Quarter. A local driver will pedal off behind your guide, into the narrow streets of the Old Quarter, known for its ‘36 streets of 36 wares’ - silk street, rice street, paper street, lacquer ware street, and jewellry street. Return to your hotel after stop by the Hoan Kiem Lake 'Lake of the Returned Sword,' and visit the Jade Temple, located on the shores of the lake.

Day 3 : Hanoi - Ha Long Bay
Breakfast at your hotel. Between 8am and 8.45am your driver will pick-up you from your hotel’s lobby. Travel on a comfortable limousine shuttle bus from Ha Noi to Ha Long Bay, a beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Centre. On arrival, embark on one of the most luxury cruises in the bay, enjoy a welcome drink, check-in to your cabin and have lunch while the boat slowly cruises towards the bay.
Dinner on board. In the evening, a night fishing service is available on request.

Breakfast at the hotel and enjoy a lazy, leisurely morning before transferring to Noi Bai airport to fly to Dong Hoi City. Upon arrival, a driver will meet and transfer you to Phong Nha town, home to the world’s largest caves and tropical rainforest. There are plenty of opportunites for adventure lovers: cycling, kayaking, boating, cave exploring, mountain climbing and forest trekking. Try a guided leisure cycling tour to explore the villages.

Day 6 : Phong Nha
Breakfast at hotel. At 8.30am a tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to Phong Nha Botanic Garden, a natural forest home to an abundance of floral and fauna species. Visit Exhibition House, and wind your way to the Animal Rehabilitation Center. Have a short break at pretty Hoang Anh Lake, brimming with clear emerald water.
Hike through the jungle to the scenic 30 metre Gio waterfall, a series of spectacular cascades between sheer rock walls. Visit Paradise Cave (electric car between ticket booth and cave entrance excluded), considered one of the largest complexes of caves in the world. Surrounded by forested karst peaks, this remarkable cave system features cathedral-like spaces with colossal stalagmites and glimmering stalactites, with giant naturally formed silhouettes of unicorns, lions, and dragons.

Breakfast at hotel, and leave early for Dong Ha province and the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), an iconic war zone along the beautiful Ben Hai River. Travel through the former North-South border area, with a chance to see the former American military base of Khe Sanh, the Rockpile, the Dakrong suspension bridge, the Lang Vay Special Forces Camp, Hien Luong Bridge at the 17th Parallel, and the epic Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Continue your visit to Vinh Moc tunnels and learn how a village was built underground to avoid the bombing during the war. The complex consists of wells, kitchens, rooms for each family. After lunch at a local restaurant, drive back to downtown Hue.
