Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure and rest overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi (Breakfast Included)
World-famous as a city of lakes, shaded boulevards and verdant public parks, Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, means different things to different people. The city is a perfect blend of the exotic chic of old Asia and the dynamic face of new Asia. Hanoi is where imagination becomes reality. On this day, you can either enjoy free time or can opt to add on the excursion as listed below in 'Your Optional Excursions'. Overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 3: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)
After breakfast between 8 am - 9 am, you will depart via the road to Ha Long Bay, a world heritage site of outstanding natural beauty. Travel through the rich agricultural lands of the Red River Delta and pass rice paddy landscapes, water buffaloes, and the daily life of Vietnamese villagers. You will arrive at Ha Long Bay after a 2 and a 1/2 hour drive. You will then board your boat and enjoy a delicious lunch. The cruise will travel past many rocks and islets in various forms. The cruise will stop to visit a floating village or a cave, where clients can swim or use kayaks. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on board

Day 4: Ha Long Bay (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included)
Onboard, early risers can enjoy a Tai Chi class on the sundeck before indulging with a light breakfast with tea, coffee and pastries. You will then move to a day boat and cruise to Lan Ha bay, where you will spend the day swimming, sea kayaking, exploring the hidden lagoon, and visiting small islets. Lunch will be served on board. In the afternoon, you will return to the big boat, where you can enjoy dinner and an overnight stay on the boat. 
Day 5: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (Brunch Included)
In the morning, you will continue your journey on the cruise, discovering the beauty of the bay before returning to the dock. The boat will continue towards the port of Ha Long. A light lunch or brunch will close this magnificent cruise. All the crew will come to goodbye to you and thank you when you arrive at the port at about 11 am. Your driver will be waiting for you and will transfer you back to Hanoi. Enjoy free time and an overnight stay in Hanoi.

Day 6: Hanoi - Phu Quoc Island (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, enjoy free time until you're transferred to the airport for your flight to Phu Quoc. Upon arrival in Phu Quoc, you will be transferred to your resort to enjoy free time and an overnight stay.
Day 7, 8, 9 & 10: Phu Quoc (Breakfast Included)
During your time on this stunning island, enjoy daily breakfast followed by rest, relaxation and enjoyment of the hotel's fantastic facilities. Overnight stay in Phu Quoc.

Day 11: Phu Quoc - Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, you will enjoy free time until you're transferred to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City (Breakfast Included)
After breakfast, set out to enjoy free time around the city or opt to add the excursion detailed below in 'Your Optional Excursions'. Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (Breakfast Included)

Ninh Binh - Tam Coc - Bich Dong - Ha Long Bay on Land - Day 2

Your Optional Excursions
Depart at 8 am from your hotel in Hanoi and enjoy a 2-hour drive to Ninh Binh Province. Get on small rowing boats and travel along the Ngo Dong River, the canals amid local villages, and green fields. Enjoy the beauty of Tam Coc (3 caves) which is also called “Ha Long Bay on land”. Go through the caves and then row back to the boat quay after 2 hours. Have lunch at a local restaurant, In the afternoon, take a bike ride around to visit the Bich Dong pagoda, 2 km from Tam Coc, which was conferred by a King the title “Vietnam’s second most beautiful grotto”. Climb up the Ngu Nhac Son (Buddha’s Palm Mountain), and be charmed by the marvellous scenery offered by the mountains, rivers and pagodas. Return to Hanoi and arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon.

Visit Ben Tre (Mekong Delta) - Day 12

Your Optional Excursions
Depart from your hotel at 8am. After a 2.5-hour drive from busting Ho Chi Minh City, you will arrive in Ben Tre. You will then board a cruise, a new boat that's open on all sides to allow the river breezes to flow freely. As you meander down the Mekong, you'll have a chance to observe Vietnamese life from the comfort of your Apricot cruise as it plays out on the riverbanks and your attentive crew serve cold drinks and seasonal fruit.

Enjoy a tuk-tuk ride that will take you to a local family who make coconut-leaves-swobs. Meet your friendly host, and gain an insight into local traditional methods in how to make a swob. Continue with a relaxing bike ride on the lush and ever green rural road. Cycle through peaceful villages, meet friendly and smiling locals, and enjoy the tranquil scenes of rural life. Next is a rowing boat through the crisscross canals. Be relaxed while observing the slow pace of Mekong Delta life. Lunch is served with Mekong specialties at a local restaurant. Relax and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere before transferring to the pier where a waiting driver will take you back to your hotel.

Entry Requirements 


You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 


Until 30 June 2021, ‘British Citizen’ passport holders travelling for tourism can enter Vietnam for up to a maximum of 15 days (counting the dates of entry and exit) without a visa. If you have a different type of British nationality – for example ‘British national (overseas)’ you’ll need to get a visa before entering Vietnam. 

For longer durations of 16 to 30 days (for example if you arrive in Vietnam on 23rd August and leave on 7th September), you must get an e-visa online before you travel. The use of an e-visa is limited to certain entry/exit points which you must select at the time of application. E-visas are only applicable to ‘British Citizen’ passport holders.
