Your Itinerary —
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi, you will be welcomed by a guide and transferred to your hotel in the city centre to check in (Hotel check-in time: 14:00. Early check-in is not included). Relax after a long journey.
Overnight in Hanoi with breakfast included.
The day starts at 8am with a visit to the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh - the nation’s founder, containing Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (viewed from outside on Mondays, Fridays and every afternoons due to closure), and the house on stilts, One Pillar Pagoda. Next up visit Tran Quoc Pagoda - Hanoi’s oldest pagoda on the bank of West Lake. Continue your interesting day with Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university which was constructed in 11th century.
In the afternoon, visit the museum of Ethnology, the biggest and most interesting museum in Hanoi where displays artifacts of 54 minorities in Vietnam. Later, take a walking tour around the Old Streets which were named after the specific goods once offered for sale at these places. Stop at Hoan Kiem Lake to learn about legend of the lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple.

After breakfast, you will leave Hanoi to Ha Long Bay, a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty (approx. travel time: 3 hours 30 minutes / 140km). Upon arrival, transfer to a junk for a cruise around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch served on board. Passing many rocks and islets in shape of Dog, Incense, Fighting-cock, Finger, Hoa Cuong etc and visit Surprise cave and short swim at Titov beach, kayak (kayak cost is not include in this package), if weather permitted. Have dinner on board. In the evening, enjoy the night fishing.

Day 4: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi
Tea and coffee is served with cakes. Cruise through the bay see more islands and Islets. Check out and enjoy brunch on board. Disembark and drive back to Hanoi (approx. travel time: 3 hours 30 minutes / 140km).

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver and transferred to the airport in time for your flight (approx. travel time: 1 hour / 30km). Upon arrival, you will be picked up by a shuttle bus and transferred to your resort, the rest of the day will be to do as you please.

Day 6-8: Phu Quoc Island
Spend some time working on your tan in the tropical haven.

Day 9: Phu Quoc - Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, you will be picked up by your driver and transferred to the airport in time for your flight. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel.

After breakfast, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, 70km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, created since 1948 to assist the Viet Minh to combat the French. This is an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapon shops, field hospitals and command centers. During the Vietnam War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated a fire free zone and was heavily bombarded. From 1988, two sections of the tunnels have been opened for visitors. Back to your hotel after 4 hour tour.
In the afternoon, a half day city tour. Visit the moving War Remnants Museum which presents a partial, but riveting, view of the American War, as it is known in Vietnam. Continue to the Reunification Palace, former residence of the Indochina Governor General and later President of the Republic of Southern Vietnam until the fall of Saigon in April 30, 1975. The day ends with visit to Notre Dame Cathedral and the bustling Ben Thanh Market for shopping.

After breakfast, depart from your hotel at 08:00, it takes only 2 hours pleasant drive to Ben Tre province crossing Rach Mieu bridge. On arrival in Hung Vuong Pier, hop on a motorized boat on Ben Tre River – one of tributaries of Mekong river while sight-seeing lively activities along river as fishing, water transferring.
Your first stop is at brick kiln to see how to make bricks traditionally by printing and baking. Continue to visit one of plenty of coconut processing workshops located along canal. Return to the boat and go through natural scissors creeks to a village and see some local houses making sleeping mats and enjoying some fruits.
Take a motorized cart (tuk tuk) or bicycle on shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains to be able to touch on real life and find out about tropical culture from peasants. Have lunch at local a riverside restaurant.
After lunch, take a rowing-boat along beautiful water palm creek before meeting up the motorised boat and transfer you back to the pier. Return to hotel after a memorable day merging in Mekong Delta local living.

Day 12: Departure
You will be free today until you meet your driver for a transfer to the airport in a good time to connect to your departure flight (approx. transfer time: 45 minutes / 14km).

Important Information
Your passport should be valid for a minimum of 6 months on the date you enter Vietnam for you to be eligible for the 15 day visa exemption.
For periods of stay longer than 15 days, entry into Vietnam may be refused if your passport has less than 1 month validity from the date your Vietnamese visa expires.
Until 30 June 2018 ‘British Citizen’ passport holders travelling for tourism or business can enter Vietnam for up to a maximum of 15 days without a visa. If you have a different type of British nationality – for example ‘British national (overseas)’- you’ll need to get a visa or an e-visa before entering Vietnam.
