Your Destinations —
Cambodia
This fascinating country offers a true taste of Southeast Asia before the arrival of tourism and modernisation. It has a diverse landscape from dusty hot cities and mountainous jungles to beautifully calm bays and pristine beaches. At the turn of the millennium, Siem Reap was a Cambodian provincial town with few facilities, minor surfaced roads and little in the way of nightlife. Now it is a major tourist hub due to its proximity to the world-famous temples of Angkor (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

Return to the hotel to relax.
In the morning, take a tuk-tuk on the less travelled roads of Siem Reap to cross the jungle passing by local villages and local shops. You will have the chance to explore some of the most beautiful temples of Angkor. You will visit from the West Gate of Angkor Thom – undiscovered by mass tourists:
- The ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century)
- See the South Gate, Bayon Temple – unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara
- Phimeanakas
- The Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King

There are three key Hindu structures that remain at Roluos; Lolei, Bakong and Preah Ko, which were all part of the ancient city of Hariharalaya. You will peacefully explore the temples and soak up the local atmosphere away from the crowds. Return to the hotel.

The remaining towers and sanctuaries were built from the 7th to 13th centuries. Lunch in a local restaurant.
