Phuket

Kalima Resort and Spa is nestled on a quiet hillside with sweeping views of the bay below. You are just a 10-minute drive from lively Patong beach (3km), famous for its nightlife, shopping and entertainment. The hotel provides a free shuttle service to Patong Beach three times a day. Family-friendly Kamala Beach is also very nearby (6km) and offers a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere.

If you wish to explore, the island of Phuket and its surrounds offer some spectacular scenery, beaches and culture. So whether it's elephant treks, rainforest hikes, diving or island hopping you are interested in, it can all be found here, in the 'Land of Smiles.'

Koh Yao Island

The Koh Yao island group consists of 44 islands with a total area of 142 Square kilometres. Nestled in this archipelago are the two main islands, “Koh Yao Yai” and “Koh Yao Noi. The names translate to “Big Long Island” and “Little Long Island” respectively. These two sleepy islands still enjoying a slow pace of life, located in Phang Nga Bay, just a short boat ride from Phuket. 

Secluded and quiet, this lesser developed island is the perfect destination to relax, unwind, and unplug. The northern tips of Koh Yao Yai and Koh Yao Noi are part of Ao Phang Nga National Park, and most of the island is covered by mountain ranges and various types of rainforests. Areas closer to the sea are cultivated with rice fields.

The island and surroundings are abundant with wildlife, hidden beaches and traditional fishing villages, surrounded by natural beauty. The area is home to some of the worlds most undisturbed and colourful sea life, making the island diving and snorkelling some of the best in the world.

Khao Lak
