3 Night Safari
On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport you will be received by our someone from our team and then transferred to Arusha for for dinner and an overnight stay where you can relax after your journey.
Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
You'll depart from Arusha after breakfast for the approximately two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way you'll pass bustling Maasai villages and the vast, open plains that have become synonymous with images of Africa.
The park consists of natural vegetation mainly of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. Both the river and the swamps act like a magnet for wild animals during Tanzania's dry season. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa.
Driving through the parks you'll also have the opportunity to see lions, leopards, cape buffalo, and a huge variety of antelopes. If you're particularly lucky, you might even see endangered animals such as the Greater Kudu or the Fringe-Eared Oryx.
Early morning breakfast followed by game drives in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is known for its tree-climbing lions and has the most pachyderms per km sq. in Tanzania. As visitors enter the gate, they pass into the lush forest, home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. Buffaloes and hippos also lurch in the adjacent Hippo Pool. The vegetation eventually merges into a flat topped acacia woodland where, in the heat of the day, lions can be seen stretched on the branches of these trees - a habit prevalent to Manyara lions. Towards late afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 4: Departure at Kilimanjaro Airport
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule you will get transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport to connect your flight to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport to continue your trip in Zanzibar.
4 Night Safari
Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Enjoy an early morning breakfast followed by another day of games drives in Tarangire National Park. Towards late afternoon, you will drive back to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 4: Manyara National Park - Arusha
Early morning breakfast followed by games drives in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara is known for its tree-climbing lions and has the most pachyderms per km sq. in Tanzania. Arusha
This lodge is made up of 28 standard rooms each featuring air conditioning and a TV. The Lodge also has complimentary wi-fi for its guests as well as an outdoor swimming pool and beautiful gardens to enjoy during your stay. You could also indulge in a massage while you're here.
Moivaro Lodge (or similar)
This lodge is set just outside a working coffee plantation and provides good access to Kilimanjaro and various safari parks. Here you can find a swimming pool, lounge and bar, a restaurant, children's play area, massage rooms and private gardens to explore. The cottage s each have their own veranda, hot showers, electric lighting and twin beds.
Tarangire
Here you will be in the centre of Northern Tanzania’s green belt district and farming community. Find charming garden paths leading to just 11 cottages in this lush green area. There is a main public building, bar, restaurant, lounge and veranda.
Kudu Lodge Karatu (or similar)
This lodge is located in the heart of Karatu in 11 acres of rolling countryside. There is also a bar, swimming pool, gift shop, wi-fi, conference rooms and a Mrembo Spa where you can indulge in some relaxation after your busy day out on safari.
Manyara Wildlife Safari Camp (or similar)
This camp lies along the 600 meter Rift Valley Escarpment over the river basin overlooking the lake itself giving guests ideal views of the scenic area. Here you can find 10 tents and 8 double story cottages all of which offer hot and cold showers, a king size bed, tea and coffee making facilites, safe, desk, toiletries, a fan and outdoor furniture.

Safari Blue Sea Excursion
Dolphins are sighted on approximately 90% of trips. Anchor is dropped at the Kwale sandbank, where sunshades are set up and guests have the chance to go snorkeling in the coral reefs, helped by the guides. After snorkeling, you’ll be offered refreshments to whet your appetite before heading to Kwale Island, for lunch under the tamarind trees. Drinks are served throughout the day and lunch is a buffet of grilled fish, lobster, calamari, chicken and rice, with a tasting of tropical fruits. After lunch, you can sunbathe, snooze or visit the beautiful mangrove lagoon. Depending on the tide, you may be able to take a swim in the lagoon. For the adventurous, join the crew to sail in an “ngalawa”, a local outrigger canoe but be careful not to tip the boat! Then it’s back to Fumba for around 5:30pm.

Stone Town City Tour
While tracing the steps of the past, the walking tour provides you with a window into modern life in Stone Town. Explore the markets, seafood and fish piled in the fish market, fresh loaves of bread in wicker baskets and the neat stacks of fruit and vegetables as traders sell their wares from their stalls. Children play in the streets in the residential areas, mamas sit out and gossip while the men play board games. An optional stop at The Zanzibar Coffee House provides a rest from the heat and hustle and bustle. A selection of drinks, local sweets & seasonal fruits act as the perfect pick me up, for you to continue your tour. The City Tour is very flexible and can be adapted suit your interest and time frame, if you’re a shopaholic, culture vulture or history buff. If you want to hunt for antiques and souvenir shop, follow David Livingstone’s time in Zanzibar and walk the path of the slave trade, your guide can recommend and develop routes and itineraries that will optimise your time and get the most out of your trip.

Zanzibar Spice Tour
A visit to a spice farm village gives you an insight into local life and the opportunity to try some Swahili dishes, taste the fruits in season and try some spiced tea. An optional lunch is available at Hakuna Matata Beach Lodge, a special menu, prepared with the best of the seasonal fruit and spices introduced to you during the tour. Depending on the season you are visiting, you can find anything from vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, turmeric, lemon grass, cloves, ylang ylang, cumin, garlic, ginger, coriander, pepper, allspice, tamarind, chilli, oregano and more! Fruits can include banana, pineapple, jack fruit, custard fruit, oranges, star fruit, tangerine, passion fruit, mango, avocado, pear, papaya, grape fruit and many others.

Jozani Forest Tour
Your park ranger will take you on a nature trail, lined with eucalyptus and mahogany trees and explain the medicinal properties of various plants and tell you about the animals, birds and reptiles that make their home in the various habitats of this tropical rainforest. Troops of Zanzibar Red Colobus monkeys can be found scrambling from branch to branch, in search of food. The monkeys have become acclimatised to people and allow you to get close to them to take photographs as they eat, play and jumping from the treetops.
The mangrove boardwalk takes you above the swamp, where, depending on the tide, you can see tropical fish flitting between the mangrove roots and crabs scuttling across the mud. Mangroves play an important role in environmental conservation and as a resource for villagers and community life. Your ranger will explain the different species found in the swamp and their uses.
