Your Itinerary —
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our driver guide and transferred to Kibo Palace Hotel. Overnight at Kibo Palace Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park - Karatu (120 kms / 02h30)
After breakfast at the hotel, safari briefing from our professional driver guide then immediately depart with picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park. Arrive in the Tarangire National Park for midmorning game drive. Then later proceed in the afternoon for a game drive in Lake Manyara national park until evening.
Proceed to your
lodge in time to freshen up before dinner.
Overnight at Karatu Simba Lodge or similar.After breakfast in the lodge, proceed for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A highlight awaits you to explore what is commonly referred to as the world’s largest wildlife zoo. You’ll descend through 2,000 feet into the crater with picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. With more than 30,000 resident animals, it is an awe-inspiring wildlife experience. Proceed to your lodge.

Morning breakfast then proceed to Arusha with a picnic lunch to catch the Zanzibar flight departing at 14h00 to arrive at 15h30. Meet and greet by our representative before been transfer to Essque Zalu. Dinner and Overnight at Essque Zalu Zanzibar.
These days are at your leisure to relax by the beach, take an optional excursion or enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of your hotel. Overnight in a Garden Suite Room at the Essque Zalu.
Day 8: Hotel – Zanzibar Airport
Breakfast in the hotel and check out by 10 am. You are then going to be transferred to Zanzibar airport for your international flight.

You will enjoy a 3-night stay in a Standard Room, on a Full Board Basis (Breakfast, lunch and evening meal served in the main restaurant - excludes drinks).
A 15-minute walk from Arusha city centre, Kibo Palace Hotel features a restaurant serving African and international cuisine and two bars. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, fitness room and massage room. There are 65 rooms and suites all with en suite bathroom with a shower, mini bar, satellite TV, safe, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities.
Karatu Simba Lodge is set about a thirty-minute drive from the gate of Lake Manyara National Park, approximately 4km off the main road to the entry of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi in the common areas, an evening campfire and pool with views onto the forest. All accommodations lead out to private decks, and all feature private bathrooms.

For many centuries Zanzibar has been infamous for its spices earning it the name “Spice Island”. Visit the countryside where you will have a chance to learn about and experience the exotic spices Zanzibar is famous for including cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, vanilla, turmeric and more. Enjoy touring through tropical greenery where you will taste a variety of delicious tropical island fruits like mango, pineapple, banana, jackfruit, lychee and durian.
Step back in time as you wander through the atmospheric narrow, labyrinth alleyways of ancient Stone Town. This fascinating UNESCO heritage site is atmospheric and filled with historic wonders and magnificent Arab/Indian architecture which has hardly changed for hundreds of years. Browse through the famous shopping district where you find handcrafts to take home for you treasure as you remember your experience in Zanzibar for a lifetime.
Jozani Forest Reserve is one of the largest mature forests in Zanzibar where you are guaranteed to see troops of Red Colobus. Unique to only Zanzibar and one of the rarest monkeys in the world, the endangered Red Colobus Monkey is a joy and privilege to witness. This lush, tropical forest is surrounded by mangroves and salt marshes filled with diverse trees & fauna. You may even spot other species like the Syke’s monkey and duiker.
Set out to sea to experience dolphin watching at their favourite hangout along the shallow coast of Kizimkazi. Although dolphin-spotting isn’t 100% guaranteed, it is incredibly common to witness leaping pods of Bottlenose and Humpback Dolphins.
A full day excursion on a traditional sailing dhow, Safari Blue starts from Fumba, the perfect starting point to explore Menai Bay, an official Conservation Area. Home to beautiful uninhabited islands, the area is stunning, frequented by humpback and bottlenose dolphins.
Dolphins are sighted on approximately 90% of trips. The anchor is dropped at the Kwale sandbank, where sunshades are set up and guests have the chance to go snorkelling in the coral reefs, helped by the guides.
After snorkelling, you’ll be offered refreshments to whet your appetite before heading to Kwale Island, for lunch under the tamarind trees. Drinks are served throughout the day and lunch is a buffet of grilled fish, lobster, calamari, chicken and rice, with a tasting of tropical fruits.
After lunch, you can sunbathe, snooze or visit the beautiful mangrove lagoon. Depending on the tide, you may be able to take a swim in the lagoon. For the adventurous, join the crew to sail in a “ngalawa”, a local outrigger canoe.
