DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ARUSHA

DAY 2: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

• Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a safari briefing with your expert driver-guide.
• Set off on an early morning game drive through Tarangire National Park, known for its majestic baobabs and elephant herds.
• Enjoy a picnic lunch en route before continuing your afternoon game drive.
• Later, transfer to your lodge for a restful evening.

DAY 3: TARANGIRE - LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

• After breakfast at the lodge, depart for Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch.

• The dramatic Rift Valley escarpment rises to the east, framing the lake and lush underground forest.
• Spot playful monkeys, majestic elephants, zebras, impalas, giraffes, buffalo, hippos and more as you explore.

DAY 4: MANYARA - ARUSHA

• Later, take the shuttle transfer at 10.30pm to the airport in time for your Ethiopian Airlines flight at 2.10am.

DAY 5: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK - NGORONGORO CRATER - KARATU

• After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, often described as the world’s largest natural wildlife sanctuary.
• Descend 600 metres into the crater for a game drive with a picnic lunch.
• This vast volcanic caldera is the largest intact one in the world, home to forests, swamps, lakes, grasslands and dunes – and over 30,000 animals.
• After your wildlife adventure, continue to your lodge for the evening.

DAY 6: KARATU – MANYARA NATIONAL PARK - ARUSHA 

• Enjoy an early breakfast before departing with a picnic lunch for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, spanning 325 km², including approximately 230 km² of lake.
• After your safari, continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport, pausing for dinner at the KIA Lodge. Later, take the shuttle bus to the airport at 10.30pm, in time for your Ethiopian Airlines flight departing at 2.10am.

Good to know:

The Tanzanian Shilling (TZS) is the local currency, though US dollars are widely accepted. The best time to visit is during the dry season, from June to October, when wildlife sightings are at their peak. Zanzibar is a year-round destination, but the coastal areas may see more rain during the long rains (March to May). Flights to Tanzania typically land at Dar es Salaam or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
