Your destinations —
Stockholm
As one of Europe's most enchanting, well-designed and dynamic destinations, Stockholm is an ideal choice for a city break in every season. From the fashion, to the architecture, vibrant dining scene and wealth of ever-evolving museums, this 'Beauty on the Water' offers something for guests of every age and description.
Spread across 14 islands, and yet surprisingly compact, the city of Stockholm is interconnected via a series of 57 charming bridges, which allow guests to walk between attractions with ease. The highlights across Sweden's capital seem endless, but Gamla Stan remains a firm favourite - one of the best-preserved districts seen across Europe, from the cobblestone streets to the cosy shops and cafés, where handicrafts, souvenirs and tasty, local treats can be found.
In addition to the winding, historical streets, Stockholm also promises an array of fantastic museums, the most famous of which is possibly the Vasa Museum. As the home of the only preserved seventeenth-century ship in the world, ornately decorated with hundreds of carved sculptures despite the 333 years it spent underwater following its maiden voyage - this is undoubtedly a must-see attraction when visiting Stockholm.
Tallinn
Estonia's capital, sitting on the edge of the Baltic Sea is known for its medieval Old Town. Most of the streets are pedestrian only, allowing visitors to roam and stroll along as they admire the beautiful merchant houses that display Gothic architecture.
The city is divided into two towns, with the upper section which once housed wealthy Germans and the lower section which housed the poor Estonians, formed two distinct styles within the city. This is why you can find the majestic Toompea Castle in the Upper Town, a stronghold site since the 9th century that today houses the Parliament of Estonia and in the Lower Town, the market.
Helsinki
One of the world's most sustainable and eco-conscious destinations, Helsinki, the vibrant capital of Finland, is a beautiful seaside city that boasts urban charm, historic majesty and a dynamic dining scene. Stylish, creative, and forward-thinking, the city of Helsinki offers its visitors an insight into Nordic culture, packed with friendly locals, traditional sauna experiences and a laid-back, approachable lifestyle.
In addition to the urban elements of this destination, including the many museums, concerts, and Finnish flavours, Helsinki acts as a gateway to some of the country's most beautiful nature. While the Helsinki Archipelago is made up of over 300 unique islands, the city is also nestled less than two hours away from six spectacular national parks, making Finland's beautiful capital the ultimate base for a holiday that combines the best of both worlds.
