Located in the heart of Swedish Lapland there is a winter playground on the doorstep and adventures extend to snow shoing, cross-country skiing, snowmobile safaris, dog sledge tours, Northern Light tours, husky kennel visit, Iceland horse riding, Sami activities, moose safari, ICEHOTEL visit, Aurora Sky Station visit as well as Northern Light photo tours.
Camp Ripan 4* consists of a main building and many charming cottages that provide guests with their own private slice of peace in the midst of this incredible natural place. Stay in the hotel cabin Kiruna which is perfect for couples and offers comfort and style with a king-size bed and nature all around with the Midnight Sun hiking trail just outside the cabin. In the cabin you will find a sofa, desk, bathroom as well as an electric kettle and TV for an ideal home-away-from-home break. There is also an outdoor cupboard where you may choose to store your skis.

The jewel of the Camp Ripan is the Aurora Spa with a sauna, spa treatments, an indoor and outdoor pool. Indulge in spa treatments where all ingredients in the creams and treatments come from nature’s own pantry and are naturally free from preservatives.
The indoor pool has panoramic windows, ideal for Northern Light spotting whatever the weather. Alternatively, take a dip in the world’s most northerly tempered outdoor pool.

Spa with Ritual Stävan
A complete experience for the body and soul. At your own pace, you carry out the treatments in our spa! The treatments at Aurora Spa are based on old Swedish, Sami and Torne Valley Finnish medicinal traditions. The spa bucket includes birch leaf scrub, foot salts with juniper berries, lemon and sea salt, coffee scrub and a body oil made with regionally-grown rapeseed oil. All products contain natural raw ingredients and are completely free of preservatives.

Northern Lights Photo Tour
Scandinavian Photoadventures welcomes you to join their tour to experience the Northern Light and learn more about the arctic nature at the best places for chasing the northern light in Kiruna.
You borrow camera equipment from us or bring your own camera. As beginner or more experienced in photo our guides help you to get pictures to bring home for your album. While waiting for the Aurora Borealis we, with help of the camera, teach you about the arctic nature, sami culture and the basics of northern lights/night photography.We take photos not only of the Northern Lights but also of ourselves and of the nature around us. If it is not an auroral night we will teach you how you later, with your own camera, can create beautiful auroral images. We end the evening with a cup of coffee or tea by the fire. SD memory card is not included, but it's possible to buy on location – price 200 SEK.
