Your Itinerary in Detail —
Day 1-3
Day 1: Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, after concluding immigration formalities collect your luggage where H.O.T Destination Management – an airport representative will meet you at the arrival lounge with signage and assist them to the vehicle. You will be immediately transferred to your hotel.
Check-in at the hotel & relax. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: After breakfast, check out and transfer to Girithale. Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, comprised of 5 caves and a picturesque facade carved into the side of a steep rock face, Dambulla Cave Temple houses ancient paintings depicting the Buddha and his life. It is home to the famous Dambulla Cave Temple a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Iron Wood Forest, and the Rose Quartz Mountain Range, Dambulla provides historical adventures and breathtaking sights in a region UNESCO has designated the Cultural Triangle.
Then, enjoy a cycling tour through a rural village in Polonnaruwa or Giritale (Visits: Ornamental Fish farm observation, feeding fish, observing harvesting and getting the experience. Go on a fun and active bike excursion in Giritale, a nice introduction to the local daily life. Admire the green rice fields and visit local villages.

Day 3: Early Morning after breakfast, visit Sigiriya Lion’s Rock Sigiriya (Lion's rock), a large stone and ancient rock fortress and palace ruin in the central Dambulla of Sri Lanka, surrounded by the remains of an extensive network of gardens, reservoirs, and other structures. A popular tourist destination, Sigiriya is also renowned for its ancient paintings (frescos) which are reminiscent of the Ajanta Caves of India. It is one of the seven World Heritage Sites of Sri Lanka. It is also declared by UNESCO as the 8th Wonder of the World.

Day 4-6
Day 4: After breakfast, check out from the Hotel and transfer to Mahiyanganaya. Enjoy Dambana, an evening with indigenous folk with cultural activities and folk dance. Possibly dating back to even before 16,000 B.C. today Veddhas tribe of Sri Lanka are the true indigenous people of this unique island nation. Living in the remote jungle village of Dambana, they still respect and preserve their earliest cultures and traditions. The Veddhas lead a seemingly simple way of life in the jungle. Their culture is laid back and even relaxing, with their main way of life is hunting. Their needs are simple, and they live in harmony with nature in a way that modern man would most likely find impossible.

Day 5: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kandy Depending on weather conditions, breakfast will be served on the boat. Take a relaxing boat ride along the tranquil waters of The Mapakada Lake. Let our local boatmen be your guide and share with you the natural wonders that abound within the calm waters and the surrounding breathtaking landscape. Set out at dawn as the sun is yet to begin its ascent and flocks of birds take flight across the dawning skies, or at dusk as nature begins to wind down for the night.
In the evening, enjoy a cultural show in Kandy. The Kandyan Dancers are a part of the culture in Kandy and their costumes and movements are interesting. The show lasts almost an hour as there are several different dances performed. It is nice to know that show performance is an example of what is really happening in Sri Lankan culture today.

Day 6: After breakfast, enjoy a Kandy city Tour. Nestled amidst verdant hills, interspersed by the Mahaweli River and the beautiful Kandy Lake as a centerpiece, Kandy is certainly the most picturesque city on the island and the most visited. The last Sinhalese kings, who ceded power to the British in 1815 after many a battle with the western colonial forces, still retains much of its old-world charm and traditions, crafts, and the typical Sri Lankan way of life. Afterwards, join your guide and continue the rest of the tour. Visit Batik and Wood carving centre. Get an insight into local crafts and arts. Whatever your interest be it pottery, intricately carved spoons, weaving, lacquer sinewy silverware, or finely cut gems, you are like to find them in Kandy to your heart’s content.
In the evening, visit The Temple of the Tooth - The Sacred Tooth Relic Temple or Dalada Maligawa, a monumental architectural heritage of not just Kandy but the whole of Sri Lanka. The Relic Tooth was brought to Kandy by King Wimaladharmasuriya-I who took it out of Delgamuwa in Sabaragamuwa.

Day 7-12
Day 7: After an early breakfast at the hotel, check out from Kandy and proceed to Haputale via Nuwara Eliya. Visit Tea plantation and tea factory and tea plucking experience. Sri Lanka is home to the world’s best – globally renowned Ceylon Tea. With its fine rich flavor and bright golden colour, it is unrivalled in terms of quality. The visit will gain an insight into the true art of growing and producing this favourite brew.
Then, enjoy a Train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella/Haputale. Travelling by train in Sri Lanka is a unique experience. The railway track stretches across scenic hill country, magically untouched countryside. The train still runs on the legendary route built in the 19th century. Whichever route you choose, you are assured of an unforgettable journey. In addition, it is possible that our agency in Sri Lanka can adjust the day of the train and/or route. This is done when they hear that a train is crowded and/or delay will increase.

Day 8: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Yala. The second-largest national park in Sri Lanka, Yala is situated in the Southeast part of the island in the dry, semi-arid climate region, bordering the Indian Ocean. The number of mammals recorded at Yala is as high as 44 while it also boasts one of the highest leopard densities in the world. None other than the majestic Sri Lankan elephant and the leopard, take pride of place at this amazing national park.

Day 9: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Galle. Visit the Galle Dutch Fort. One of Sri Lanka’s must-see attractions, this ancient citadel is packed with history and charm. Learn how the largest living fort in Asia was built, walk along the ramparts and take in panoramic views of the fort, harbour and crystal-clear waters below. Meet descendants from the original merchant families. Experience the island’s fascinating boutiques and museums with colonial antiques to restaurants.

Day 10: The Turtle Hatchery at Koggala is said to be the best place to see giant turtles and their babies being cared for and thereafter being released back to the sea. Visit Koggala Turtle Hatchery to add colour to your Sri Lankan vacation and witness the country's endeavour to protect its endangered species.

Cycling Tour in Galle
The south of Sri Lanka, around Galle, offers many opportunities for keen cyclists to experience real Sri Lankan life by bike. Your cycling tour of Galle takes you through the cinnamon plantations and you'll learn about the peeling process. Tea gardens and natural rubber trees are plentiful on the tour. The daily life of the people, the traditional and cultural aspects of the villagers can be experienced by bike.
Peradeniya Botanical Garden
The Royal Botanic Gardens of Peradeniya are located approximately 5.5 km west of the town of Kandy, in Sri Lanka's Central Province. Situated near the Mahaweli River, it is renowned for its collection of orchids.
It is the largest garden in Sri Lanka, with its elegant and spacious 147 acres (60 hectares) and no fewer than 4,000 different plant species.
