Day 1: Negombo
Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, your airport representative will meet you at the arrival hall with a sign and assist you to your transfer vehicle. Transfer to your hotel to check in, and enjoy some chill-out time.

Day 2: Sigiriya
The Negombo Lagoon is a vast expanse of water dotted with several islands. Mangrove plants and wildlife are abundant here, including lagoon crabs, shrimp, herons, cormorants and swifts. During your boat tour, you can enjoy a refreshing Arrack cocktail or Royal Coconut.
Dambulla Cave Temple - also known as the Dambulla Golden Temple, consists of five caves and a picturesque facade carved into the side of a steep rock face. Home to ancient paintings depicting the Buddha and his life, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is framed by the Ironwood Forest and the Rose Quartz mountain range.

Day 3: Sigiriya
Sigiriya (or Lion's Rock), is a large rock fortress and palace ruin in central Dambulla, surrounded by the remains of an extensive network of gardens, reservoirs and other structures. A popular tourist destination, Sigiriya is also famous for its ancient paintings (frescoes) reminiscent of the Ajanta Caves in India. It is one of Sri Lanka's seven world heritage sites. It is also declared by UNESCO as the 8th wonder of the world (Please note: If you want to climb to the top, it will take around 2-3 hours).

Day 4: Sigiriya - Kandy
Today, a bicycle excursion and a traditional catamaran boat ride on a water reservoir are on the itinerary. You will also visit the Ayurvedic Village of Matale, previously known as Taprobane, which was once world-famous for its quality spices.

Day 5: Kandy
The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic or Dalada Maligawa is a monumental architectural heritage not only of Kandy but also of all of Sri Lanka. The tooth relic was brought to Kandy by King Wimaladharmasuriya-I who brought it from Delgamuwa to Sabaragamuwa.
Nestled amidst lush green hills, interspersed with the Mahaweli River and beautiful Kandy Lake as its centrepiece, Kandy is certainly the most picturesque and visited city on the island. It still retains much of its old charm, traditions, crafts and typical Sri Lankan way of life.

Day 6: Kandy - Nuwara Eliya

Sri Lanka is the home of the best tea in the world, the world-famous Ceylon tea. With its rich, fine flavour and brilliant golden colour, it is unmatched in terms of quality. The tour will give you insight into the true art of growing and producing this favourite brew.

Day 7: Nuwara Eliya
The second-largest national park in Sri Lanka, Yala is located in the southeastern part of the island, in a region with a dry and semi-arid climate, bordering the Indian Ocean. The number of mammal species recorded in Yala National Park is 44 and the density of leopards is one of the highest in the world. None other than the majestic Sri Lankan elephant and leopard take pride of place in this amazing national park.
