Day 1: Negombo

Day 2: Dambulla
Dambulla is a historic town known for its remarkable cave temples and ancient rock fortress.
- Pay a visit to the Dambulla Cave Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where a series of elaborately adorned caves house an impressive collection of Buddha statues and intricate murals dating back centuries.
- Optional excursion: Jeep safari in Minneriya National Park to see wild elephants.

Day 3: Dambulla
Enjoy a picturesque catamaran ride on the reservoir and discover traditional village life as you stroll through the quaint village.- Go for the optional excursion for a chance to see the Unesco-declared 8th Wonder of the World - Sigiriya (Lion's rock) - an ancient rock fortress and palace ruin.

Day 4: Kandy
- Transfer to Kandy.
- En route, stop at the Ayurvedic village of Matale which was world famous for the quality of its spices, and is situated on the route to Kandy.
- See the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, believed to house the relic of the tooth of Lord Buddha, and surrounded by serene gardens.
- Continue on to Kandy a picturesque city exuding old-world charm, and enjoy a short tuk-tuk ride then visit the Batik and Woodcarving Centre.
- Short tuk-tuk ride and city tour in Kandy (around one hour).
Please note: It is advisable to wear modest clothing when visiting the Temple of the Tooth.

The city is renowned for its iconic Temple of the Tooth, which is said to contain the tooth of Buddha. Don't miss the gorgeous botanical gardens of Royal Botanic Gardens in Peradeniya, with its astonishing collection of orchids, just 5.5 km to the west of Kandy city.
Negombo
Negombo is a coastal city located about 37km north of Colombo, Sri Lanka's commercial capital. It is home to a large fishing community that has been in operation for centuries, making it a hub for fresh seafood. The city is also famous for its long, sandy beach, which attracts visitors from all over the world. Negombo has a rich history, and visitors can explore landmarks such as the Dutch Fort and the St. Mary's Church. Additionally, the city is located close to Bandaranaike International Airport, making it a convenient place to start or end a trip to Sri Lanka.
