Day 1: Colombo
Arrive at the airport for the transfer to Colombo, and be welcomed by the representative. Relax and refresh. Evening City tour in Colombo & shopping. Colombo is Sri Lanka’s commercial capital and a major port. It's a fine amalgamation of all the hues and cultures within this paradise isle. This chic metropolitan brings together the many facets of this island nation. Overnight stay at Colombo.
Day 2 - Proceed to Habarana (By Surface 180 Kms & 04 Hours approx.)
Breakfast at the hotel. En route Visit the Elephant Orphanage - feed and pet the babies. Learn how recycle papers are made out of Elephant dunk. It is a must-visit site as it would definitely add an unforgettable experience to your stay in this paradise isle. Overnight at the hotel Habarana.
After breakfast at the hotel, begin the morning by climbing the rock fortress of Sigiriya - a 5th Century ‘Fortress in the Sky’. Built by King Kassapa the fortress was a Royal Citadel for more than 18 years. Sigiriya, also called the lion rock (UNESCO World Heritage Site) stands 200 meters above the scrub jungle. The base of the rock is ringed by a moat and rampart and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens. The majestic Lion’s Paw picturesquely guards the stairway of the palace on the summit.
See the famous frescoes of the ‘Heavenly maidens’ of Sigiriya in a sheltered pocket of the rock and the 10-foot-high Mirror Wall. At the foothills, visit the Sigiriya museum as well. Minneriya national park- Minneriya National Park, shelters some of the greatest wildlife treasures of this paradise isle. ‘Sixth Greatest Wildlife Spectacle of the World’ – the amazing phenomenon of the ‘Minneriya Elephant gathering’ that occurs during August – September. Day 5 - Kandy Day Tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Kandy is a city of heritage, a place of artefacts and vivid crafts and spices. Enjoy shopping in the best places found in the city of Kandy. Visit Kandy Temple of Tooth Relic - Temple of the tooth relic of Lord Buddha, is the pride of Buddhists in Sri Lanka and world-over. The palace temple stands surrounded by a moat, its golden roof gleaming in the sunlight as white-clad pilgrims bearing lotus blossoms throng to worship.
The Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya, is about 5.5 km to the west from the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. It attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is near the Mahaweli River (the longest in Sri Lanka). It is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. Attached to it is the National Herbarium of Sri Lanka. In the evening sit back and enjoy traditional cultural dances at the Kandyan cultural center. Overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.
Breakfast at the hotel. See Ramboda Falls, a gigantic waterfall having three parts and very close to the 53km post along the above A-5 trunk road. The first part is above the road in the jungle (100m), the second part is close to the road (3m) and the third part (100m) is below the road. Day 7 - Nuwara Eliya Day Tour
Breakfast at the hotel Horton plains- Horton Plains National Park is a national park in the highlands of Sri Lanka. and is a mixture of highland forest and wet grassland. This is the only National Park in Sri Lanka where visitors are allowed to walk on their own on the designated tracks. Other than the gorgeous weather, flora and fauna of Horton Plains, one of the most popular activity is the hiking trail covering the mini-worlds endpoint, great worlds endpoint. Overnight at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 9 - Bentota city tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Galle, a living time capsule home to the largest occupied Fort in Asia. Its quaint beauty extends beyond its golden beaches, cerulean waters, the picturesque views and the rich history while walking through the narrow, cobbled streets within the Fort.
Sea Turtle Release – This event starts at around 6.00pm. Visit the turtle hatchery farm in Kosgoda and be among the rarest to release the turtles into the sea. Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, in the south, established in 1981, was one of the earliest attempts to safeguard local turtles from extinction.
Madu river boat ride – The 915-hectare Maadu Ganga Estuary is connected by two narrow channels to the Randombe Lake, forming a complex wetland system encompassing 64 mangrove islets. In the year 2000, International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) undertook a detailed biodiversity survey of the region & revealed the existence of no less than 10 major wetland vegetation types supporting over 300 plant species & 248 species of vertebrates.
