Day 2: After breakfast at your hotel, it's time to discover Manila. Cross the Pasig River over the famous Jones Bridge towards Chinatown to admire its colourful vegetable and fruit stalls. The area is full of restaurants, jewellery stores, Chinese pharmacies and local supermarkets.
Visit the Chinese Buddhist Temple before exiting to Plaza Carriedo where the Church of Our Lady of the Pillar gracefully stands. Visit one of the famous feng shui shops. Stroll down central Manila's main thoroughfare, Rizal Avenue, and continue to the heart of downtown where the famous Basilica of the Black Nazarene stands majestically.
Check out the downtown street markets and La Quinta indoor market before heading "under the bridge" to see a wide range of locally made handicrafts. The tour ends with a short 'jeepney' ride back to your hotel, giving you a taste of how Filipinos get around in the chaos of the big city.
After the visit, a private transfer will drive you to the domestic airport for a flight to Dumaguete. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to the seaport to board the ferry to Siquijor. Once arrived, a shuttle will transfer you to your hotel.
Day 3-4
Day 3: After breakfast, head out to visit the island of Apo (lunch included). Apo Island is a marine sanctuary that is home to over 650 species of fish and 400 species of coral. The island is only 3 km in diameter and 120 m above sea level at its highest point, where a lighthouse stands. Day 4: After breakfast, it's time for your excursion (lunch included). Your first stop will be the Balete Tree (or Banyan Tree), which is 4 centuries old and which according to local beliefs is inhabited by spirits. Then the Saint-Isidore Church and Convent, built by a Spanish priest in 1884, it is the largest and one of the oldest convents in Asia, recognized as a national historical monument.
Continue with the Cambugaha Waterfalls, a three-level waterfall whose refreshing water is perfect for swimming (remember to take a sarong to be able to change into, no changing rooms on site). You will pass by the Shell Museum, then you will meet a Bolo-bolo healer (subject to availability). This healing ritual consists of using a glass of clear water, a black stone and a pipe. Using the hose, the healer blows into the glass of water, moving it over the affected area of the patient's body. The water in the glass slowly becomes cloudy, filled with cottony brown organic matter believed to be the bad elements removed from the patient's body. The process is repeated several times until the water remains clear, an indication that the impurities causing the disease have been cured.
Continue with the Church and the bell tower of Saint Francis of Assisi. Located in the town of Siquijor, it is the first parish church of the island built in 1783. Then, the Lake of San Juan de Capilay, at the edge of which the locals like to come to picnic on weekends.

Philippines
Made up of 7,107 islands, the Philippines is defined by its pristine beaches, vivid green rice fields, fiery volcanoes, and diverse culture. The entire area covers around 300,000 square kilometres, and is surrounded by the South China Sea to the west, the Philippine Sea to the east and the Celebes Sea to the south.
Many mountains and active volcanoes dot the landscape, and craggy limestone cliffs and caves border the crystal clear waters and powder soft white sands. The religions, ethnicity, language and scenery vary hugely from island to island, resulting in an ever changing, multi layered experience of authentic Asia.
