Made up of 7,107 islands, the Philippines is defined by its pristine beaches, vivid green rice fields, fiery volcanoes, and diverse culture. The entire area covers around 300,000 square kilometres, and is surrounded by the South China Sea to the west, the Philippine Sea to the east and the Celebes Sea to the south. Many mountains and active volcanoes dot the landscape, and craggy limestone cliffs and caves border the crystal clear waters and powder soft white sands.

Away from the tourist sports, Panglao is a haven of unspoiled natural scenery, suited to beach lovers, nature enthusiasts and those seeking quiet relaxation.

A half day excursion starting with a 45-minute to an hour ride on a motorized outrigger boat to the nearby island of Balicasag - a small almost circular, flat island approximately 25hectares in area.Explore the island and snorkel in the crystal clear waters and diverse marine environments of Balicasag Island Marine Sanctuary.
Balicasag is a small island off the coast of Panglao Island in Bohol. It is a marine sanctuary with white sand beach and beautiful amazing vibrant corals in shallow and deep waters with different fishes making them their habitat. This island is a haven for snorkelers and divers and also for those who simply love to swim and go island hopping. Or you an simply laze on the white shores and go swimming on the shallow waters of the sea.

An early morning boat trip to the seawaters Southeast of Tagbilaran City on board a motorized outrigger boat. The seawaters around Pamilacan Island are home to at least (6) species of whales & dolphins. If you are lucky, these whales maybe sighted between February to August.
Also residents in the area are different species of Dolphins. It may be interesting to note that the crew & "spotters" for this tour are the former whale hunters, now trained "spotters" who gave up their traditional livelihood in favor of preserving the environment. Other activities in this tour include swimming & snorkeling around Pamilacan Island, a village tour, picnic lunch.
