Made up of 7,107 islands, the Philippines is defined by its pristine beaches, vivid green rice fields, fiery volcanoes, and diverse culture. The Chocolate Hills (67 km from your hotel) are undoubtedly the most famous attraction at this popular tourist spot. The collection of 1,268 perfectly cone shaped hills is a National Geological Monument, and has been recommended for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage list. Mostly between 30 and 50 metres high, the hills are completely covered in grass which turns brown at the end of the dry season, giving them their unusual name.
