Your itinerary in detail —

Day 1: Arrival in Cebu

Upon arrival at Mactan-Cebu International Airport (CEB), you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Cebu. Settle in for the night or spend the evening exploring the city. 

 

Overnight at Montebello Villa Hotel (or similar)

 

DAY 2: CEBU - BOHOL

Rise early this morning and squeeze in breakfast at the hotel before heading out to the port for your crossing to Bohol. Upon arrival in Tagbilaran, you will begin your excursion. First stop: the Tarsier Sanctuary, where you can come face to face with one of the world's tiniest primates, known for their large eyes. 

 

Next, cruise along a winding road through the Bilar man-made forest, a surreal stretch of towering mahogany trees planted decades ago. Then it's time to unwind with a leisurely lunch aboard a floating restaurant on the Loboc River. As you drift past jungle-covered banks and local villages, the tropical scenery does the talking.

 

The afternoon begins with one of Bohol’s most iconic sights: the Chocolate Hills. With over 1,200 symmetrical mounds blanketing the landscape, it’s a natural oddity that looks almost otherworldly, especially in the dry season when they turn their famous cocoa-brown hue.

 

On the way back, pause for snapshots at a few cultural landmarks—the Blood Compact Shrine, marking the first historic handshake between Spanish explorers and Filipino leaders, and the centuries-old Baclayon Church, a stone-built relic of Spanish colonial rule.

 

Overnight at Bohol Beach Club

Days 3 - 7: Panglao

Panglao Island, just off the coast of Bohol, is a tropical charmer where turquoise waters meet palm-fringed shores. Known for its superb diving, buzzing beach bars, and easygoing energy, it’s the kind of place where time slips gently away with the tide. Spend your days here snorkelling the vibrant reefs, island hopping to hidden coves, savouring fresh seafood or watching the sunset from the comfort of a swaying hammock. 

 

Alternatively, choose to fill your days with exciting excursions, from discovering the treasures of Balicasag Island, to waterfall chasing and island picnics (not included, please see booking page for options). 

Day 8: Departure from Cebu

Enjoy one last breakfast at the hotel before transferring to the port of Tagbilaran for your ferry crossing to Cebu. From here transfer to Cebu-Mactan International Airport for your flight home.

 

Alternatively, if you've chosen to extend your stay, take the opportunity to savour a few extra days basking under the Philippine sun.

Today, the city has an international airport making it a hot spot for travellers to make the first stop before heading to other islands. This natural beauty is also a great place for diving as it has many protected marine gardens.
