DAY 3: BOHOL: CHOCOLATE HILLS
An extraordinary natural phenomenon awaits you today!
Around 9am, you will be picked up and taken to the Chocolate Hills. To avoid all disappointment in advance: these are not mountains of chocolate to munch on however much the landscape may give you that impression. Over 1,200 cone-shaped hills rise up in a very flat area. There are several myths about the origins of this landscape and your guide will be happy to tell you more about them.
You will also have the opportunity to see the artificial forest of Bilar, a two-kilometre-long forest full of mahogany trees. The forest is said to be artificial because the mahogany trees were planted by students a few years ago. You can also admire the famous tarsiers, an icon of Bohol. The Philippine tarsier is known as one of the smallest primates in the world and is considered the mammal with the largest eyes relative to its body. It is important not to touch them and turn off the camera flash, as they are very frightened and vulnerable animals.
We then drive to Baclayon Church, considered one of the oldest Catholic church buildings in the Philippines, dedicated to Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception and built in 1596.
We end the day with a visit to the site of the Sandugo or Blood Pact in Tagbilaran. It was here on 16 March 1565 that the pact between Sikatuna (representative of the indigenous people) and Miguel Lopez de Legaspi (Spanish conqueror) was made, symbolising the peace and friendship between them.
Lunch (excl. drinks) on the Loboc River
After boarding the floating restaurant, you can choose your seat and start eating right away. Once everyone is on board, the boat ride begins and an artist starts his performance. Everywhere you look, you will see lush green trees and blue sky.
Overnight with breakfast on Bohol

After this fun-packed morning, we sail on to Balicasag, a small island off the coast of Panglao, with a healthy coral reef full of fish and even sea turtles!
A Barbecue Lunch is served on the sandy beach.
Spend the afternoon soaking up the sun or exploring the underwater world with your snorkel and revel in the beauty of the sea turtles.

Your Destinations —
Bohol
This picturesque island boasts lush greenery and beautiful beaches. Known for its wildlife and unique landscapes, many visitors come to Bohol for adventure and exploration.
The most popular and well-known attraction on the island is the Chocolate Hills which are symmetrically rounded hills expanding to the horizon. In the dry season, these hills turn a brownish colour hence where they get their name from. Another great attraction on the island is the bamboo bridge which hangs over the slow-flowing river. Once you have crossed the bridge, you will find souvenir shops and local boutiques. This island is great for those seeking something unique and different but with a splash of beach and fun.
