Day 1: Arrival in Lima Breakfast at the hotel. Explore Lima´s old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site packed with fascinating historic buildings. Start with a scenic tour in the colonial downtown, which originates and spreads out from the Main Square, where you can appreciate the grandiose architecture of the Spanish Empire. Be amazed by Lima´s Cathedral, built during the 16th century and which took over 80 years to complete. Then visit the Casa Aliaga, a colonial mansion granted in 1535 by chief conquistador Francisco Pizarro to Jerónimo de Aliaga, one of his captains. This is the only house from that time that is still owned by the same family through the centuries. Continue to the Larco Museum, located in the traditional Pueblo Libre district, which is housed in a beautifully restored vice regal mansion built on a pre-Columbian pyramid from the VII century. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, before you are transferred from your hotel to the airport of Lima. Once you arrive at Cusco airport, a transportation service waits for you to transfer you to your hotel. A representative will guide you around the attractions and facilities that the city has to offer. In the afternoon, the tour begins in Coricancha, also known as 'The Temple of the Sun', which was built by order of Inca Pachacuti and at the arrival of the Spaniards became the foundation for the construction of the Santo Domingo Convent. Then, visit the Cathedral, the most imposing monument of the Main Square, its construction took 100 years and was completed in 1654.
Later, head to Sacsayhuaman, one of the most emblematic buildings of the Incas erected by Inca Pachacuti in the 15th century. It is an immense fortress built with large stones and their transportation and assembly remains a mystery. Every June 24th the festival of Inti Raymi, in which the sun is worshipped, is recreated during the winter solstice. Continue to Qenqo, an archaeological complex for religious purposes, where agricultural rituals were held.
To conclude, visit Puka Pukara, seven kilometres from the city. Puca Pucara, which means 'red fort,' was an architectural complex of alleged military use with multiple environments, plazas, baths, aqueducts, and towers. It is believed that it was used by the Inca entourage while the leader rested in Tambomachay. When finished, return to the hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Cusco. Breakfast included.
After breakfast at the hotel, a transportation service picks you up from your hotel in Cusco and transfers you to the Ollanta Station. Your trip to Machu Picchu starts with a train ride to the town of Aguas Calientes. Aguas Calientes has a handicrafts market, restaurants, and accommodation of different categories for those who prefer to spend the night next to the mountain and then visit it early next morning.
After a short trip, arrive at Machu Picchu, a masterpiece of engineering and architecture that served as a sanctuary and resting place for Inca Pachacuti. Machu Picchu means 'Old Mountain', and was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is also one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. At the end of the tour, return by bus to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. The afternoon is free for you to explore and then take train back to Cusco. After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Lima. Your tour will start in downtown Lima, where you will visit the main square, where Lima was first founded as "The City of Kings," in 1535. At this time it was already known by the name of Lima when Peru proclaimed its independence from the Spanish Crown in 1821. There you may see the Presidential Palace, the Archbishop's Palace and the Lima Cathedral. You will then go to Saint Francis' Church and convent, which has an enviable collection of old books and an authentic network of catacombs open to the public.
Next, you will go to Pueblo Libre district to visit the Larco Museum, founded by Rafael Larco Hoyle en 1926. The museum, located inside a viceregal mansion built on a pre-Columbian pyramid of the 7th century, houses the most complete pre-Hispanic collection of gold and silver artefacts as well as pieces of erotic art. You will then catch a flight to Cusco where you will be met by your transfer which will take you to your hotel. Day 4: Cusco (Breakfast)
Today you will participate in a walking tour starting at the Coricancha Temple, one of the most important buildings in the city. It was one of the most important centres of worship to the Sun God of the Incas that was converted into a convent after the arrival of the Spanish. Then visit the wonderful Cusco Cathedral, built between 1560 and 1664, and end the tour visiting the San Pedro market, a pantry of thousands of products from different areas of the region. Finally, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Cusco. Tickets included: Coricancha temple and Cathedral.
Please note: The visit to the San Pedro market can be replaced by a visit to Casa Concha, an old colonial mansion that houses an impressive collection of Inca pieces from Machu Picchu.

Your tour will start by going to the Sacred Valley, where you will visit Awanakancha, a farm of South American camelids and textiles showroom, where local families show the entire traditional process of weaving and making garments. You will then visit the Pisac market, which has stands that exhibit and sell products manufactured by area residents. Beautiful alpaca textiles, musical instruments, paintings, carvings, necklaces and replicas of old Inca pieces are sure to catch your eye.
Next, have lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit Ollantaytambo, making a series of stops at points of interest. The town of Ollantaytambo is a typical example of Incan urban planning, whose present-day residents still live in accordance with their old traditions. Inca ruler Pachacuti conquered the town, destroyed it and built a new one, absorbing it as part of his empire. This town exhibits one of the most remarkable complexes of the Inca Empire. Today you will head out on a tour of Arequipa where your journey starts at the Plaza de Armas, one of the most beautiful in Peru, next to the magnificent Arequipa's Cathedral built during the XVII century and rebuilt many times after several earthquakes. From there you will be transferred to the Santa Catalina Monastery, an authentic cloister built in 1579 who's little religious citadel is still in use today. After that, visit the 'Iglesia de la Compañía de Jesús' (1590), considered a classical example of the baroque local architecture that holds inside an exceptional collection of paintings and murals. To end the day, visit the districts of Yanahuara and Carmen Alto, to have a panoramic view of Arequipa´s countryside. Overnight at your hotel in Arequipa. Breakfast included. Day 4: Arequipa (Breakfast)
After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart towards Puno: approximately 7 hours transfer (including lunch break and visit on the way) on a road crossing the marvelous landscapes of the Andes and climbing towards the altiplano. Enjoy a picnic lunch with a view of the Sillustani lagoon and visit the Sillustani necropolis. In the late afternoon, arrive in Puno and check in at the hotel. Overnight at your hotel in Puno. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today you will embark on a semi private tour of Uros and the Taquile Islands. You will be transferred to the lake port of Puno, where a boat will take you to the floating islands of Uros. The Uros are an ancient society that populates a series of artificial islands built on the basis of cattail plant, which grows in the lake itself. The islands are built weaving reeds in places where it grows thicker and forming a natural layer. Over them they build their houses, also made of reed, and cook outdoors in order to prevent possible fires.
After an hour and a half tour, you will continue your trip to the island of Taquile. This is Island is Quechua, unlike the other islands in the lake being Aymara speakers. The Island was part of the Inca Empire and vestiges of that culture can still be seen in its buildings. Once there you will be given a brief explanation of the island and witness a cultural activity. Then eat lunch and return to the city of Puno. Overnight at your hotel in Puno. Breakfast and lunch included. Tickets included: Uros and Taquile Islands.
Day 6: Puno - Cusco (Breakfast)
After breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to the bus station. Travel through the jaw-dropping landscapes of the highland plateau, which are dotted by Andean hamlets and herds of grazing llamas and vicuñas. Stop en route at the archaeological site of Pukara, which dates from 200BC to 300AD, as well as in Raqchi to admire the ruins of an Inca temple built to worship Wiracocha, one of the most important Inca gods. There is one more stop before Cusco at Andahuaylillas, a picturesque town famed for the beautiful 16th century Church of St Peter the Apostle. It boasts a gilded baroque interior and frescoes so delicate that it is known as the ‘Sistine Chapel of America’.

Half Day Maras and Moray
Please note: During the months of December to March (rainy season), visit Chinchero, town of Maras and chicherías, instead of the Salineras. In these months, you have the option of replacing this tour with a visit to South Valley.
Full Day Balcon del Diablo
At the top of the cliff, you will have a view of the entire site. The walk continues to Zone X, known for its mysterious rock mazes. After lunch on the way, you will visit the Temple of the Moon, where you will learn more about the Andean worldview and its connection with the stars and forces of nature. Then you will explore the archaeological complex of Cusilluchayoc. The return to Cusco is made following the route of the ancient Inca trail that went to Antisuyo. You will enter the city through San Blas, an area known for its talented craftsmen, where the trek ends.

Full Day Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountains)
Departure at 4am to Quesoyuni. Visit Japura on the way, a small Andean community and have breakfast there. A hike to Kairawiri, starting point of the hike to the impressive 7-color Mountain. Enjoy the natural spectacle that you have in front of you and the imposing mountains that also fill the landscape of colours. After the 30 to 45 minute visit, go to Kairawiri for a packed lunch. Return by bus to Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

Full Day Palccoyo (The other Rainbow Mountains)
Once at the top, enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountain and take a few minutes to enjoy the peaceful surroundings because very few tourists venture here, compared to Vinicunca. This experience is done respecting the roads and regulations in force to participate in the preservation of this natural wonder.

Full Day Humantay
During this section, you will appreciate the varied fauna such as the condor or the swallow of the Andes and you will see the imposing mountains of Salkantay and Humantay. From Soraypampa begins the climb of approximately two hours in the Humantay lagoon, here we enjoy lunch with lunch on its banks. Then we will explore the place for approximately one hour, then we will descend to Soraypampa for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, where a bus will be waiting to return to Cusco, where it will arrive around 19:00.
