DAY 11: ARRIVAL IN PUERTO MALDONADO
Arrive in Puerto Maldonado, Peru’s biodiversity capital, and transfer by boat along the Madre de Dios River to your jungle lodge. Spot wildlife like caimans, turtles, and herons along the way. After a tropical welcome drink and lunch, enjoy an afternoon walk to Cocha Cayman lagoon with a guide to observe black and white caimans. End the day with a stunning Amazon sunset, dinner at the lodge, and time to relax at the bar or game room.
