Days 1 & 2: Tromsø
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
- Upon arrival at the airport in the Arctic capital, you'll take the Flybussen Airport Express / shuttle bus to your hotel.
- The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city, at leisure.

Note: You will find the red shuttle bus (Flybuses by Bussring) directly in front of the main entrance to the Arrivals Hall for domestic flights at Tromsø Airport.
DAY 2: TROMSØ - EXCURSION TO NORTHERN LIGHTS OBSERVATION (6 hours)

- Today, you're free to explore the city at your own pace.
- Tromsø, also known as the Arctic Capital, has so much to offer. From the Polar Museum, to a ride on a cable car up to Mount Storsteinen for panoramic views of the city, you won't have time to get bored.

DAY 5: TROMSØ
- Enjoy a final breakfast at your hotel, prior to departure.

This is a bed & breakfast stay. You are also invited to enjoy a light snack (buffet selection, excluding drinks) at your hotel, every day from 6pm to 8pm. During your night cruise in the Tromsø fjord, you will enjoy a delicious traditional Norweigan dinner (drinks not included), before resuming your observation of the northern lights. Please note: Unless otherwise stated, the meat/fish option is booked for dinner. If you would like a vegetarian menu, please do inform us at the time of booking.

Enjoy an exhilarating evening excursion to chase the Northern Lights, including stunning photo opportunities, photography tips and a cosy campfire gathering.

- You'll be picked up in Tromsø (departure: 18h35 Scandic Ishavshotel) for your bus trip in search of the magical Northern Lights.
- Accompanied by a guide with good local knowledge, you'll find the best spot to observe the Northern Lights, and the ideal backdrop for your photos.
- Your guide will share interesting information about the Northern Lights, both scientific and folkloristic.
- You'll also be shown how to adjust your camera settings do as to take the best photos possible of the Northern Lights to show family and friends.
- Time permitting, visit a lavvo (tented Sami accommodation) and enjoy roasting marshmallows around a warm campfire, before returning to your hotel.

- Cruise silently into the darkness of the Tromsø fjords and enjoy an Arctic-inspired dinner in our panoramic salons.
- Learn more about the icy landscape and culture of Tromsø and Arctic Norway.
- If we're lucky, we'll be able to observe the Northern Lights in the night sky.
- Afterwards, enjoy dinner prepared with seasonal ingredients and inspired by traditional northern Norwegian dishes (A selection of local beer and quality wine will be available for purchase).

Optional excursion: Silent whale watching on hybrid-electric boat (8-9h)
Gain a unique perspective on the magnificent Humpback Whales and Orcas as they feed in the herring-rich fjords of the Arctic. A silent hybrid-electric boat minimises disturbance to nature, and in particular, the whales.
Itinerary:
- Depart Tromsø at 08h00 in the morning and head out to the whales’ feeding grounds in time to enjoy the few hours of polar daylight.
- On the way you can take in the breathtaking views of frozen landscapes in comfortable, warm lounges with panoramic windows.
- You’ll find a selection of food and drinks for purchase on board.
- While we search for the whales, our passionate guides will share personal stories about interesting sights along the way and give you indepth information about the Orca and Humpback Whale.
- Once the whales have been spotted, we switch to our electric and silent engine to minimise disturbance to the whales. Purpose built for whale watching, our boat has multiple decks, ensuring you have enough space and enjoy great views.

Visitors to Tromsø are often surprised to find such a vibrant and cosmopolitan city so far north - here you are a staggering 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle.
