Full board included & overnight on board.

DAY 5: STOKMARKNES → SORTLAND → RISØYHAMN → HARSTAD → FINNSNES → TROMSØ → SKJERVØY

Continuing our journey through narrow fjords and wild mountains, we arrive in Tromsø, a city rich in history linked to hunting, fishing and polar expeditions. Meeting the Sami and discovering their culture, especially their unique connection to reindeer, is a truly unforgettable experience.

Full board included & overnight on board.

DAY 6: HAMMERFEST → HAVØYSUND → HONNINGSVÅG → KJØLLEFJORD → MEHAMN → BERLEVÅG

This is the northernmost point accessible by land or sea. For many, visiting the North Cape is the highlight and ultimate goal of a trip along the Norwegian coast. Here, in this polar landscape, nature is at its peak, both harsh and desolate, but between the barren plains and cliffs, the inhabitants cling on and reap the fruits of nature. You can also sample locally caught seafood. How about some king crab?

DAY 7: BÅTSFJORD → VARDØ → VADSØ → KIRKENES (DISEMBARKATION AND RETURN FLIGHT)

Congratulations, you have reached the easternmost point of your journey. The border with Russia is only a few kilometres away, and you may notice that the road signs in Kirkenes are written in Norwegian and Russian. Consider joining one of our excursions to visit the border or venture to the Snow Hotel, where everything is made of ice and snow, for a unique and unforgettable experience.

End of the 7-night cruise.

Days 8 to 14

All activities, meals, and transfers outside the ‘JUST FOR YOU’ section are for inspiration only and not included.

DAY 8: MEHAMN → KJØLLEFJORD → HONNINGSVÅG → HAVØYSUND → HAMMERFEST → ØKSFJORD → SKJERVØY → TROMSØ

As we sail west and south, the polar landscape transforms, giving way to imposing mountain peaks. In the evening, we will arrive in Tromsø, nicknamed ‘the Paris of the North’, where you can attend a midnight concert in Tromsø Cathedral or stroll beneath the mesmerising Northern Lights.

Full board included & overnight on board.

DAY 9: FINNSNES → HARSTAD → RISØYHAMN → SORTLAND → STOKMARKNES → SVOLVÆR → STAMSUND

Next, we will return to the beautiful and picturesque islands of Vesterålen and Lofoten. We will enter the Vesterålen region in the morning and visit Lofoten in the evening. Along the coastline, you will discover white limestone beaches and charming fishing villages, which still thrive thanks to a dynamic fishing industry. The locals depend on coastal vessels for their daily commute. Weather permitting, we will venture into the narrow Trollfjord.

Fullboard included & overnight on board.

DAY 10: BODØ → ØRNES → SANDNESSJØEN → BRØNNØYSUND → RØRVIK

At this point in our journey, we have ventured so far south that we have left the polar lands behind us and crossed the Arctic Circle. During our cruise, we will pass many small islands, islets and reefs, including the unique mountain of Torghatten, which has a hole in its centre. If you wish, you can join us for a hike up the mountain and explore the cave.

Full board included & overnight on board.

DAY 11: TRONDHEIM → KRISTIANSUND → MOLDE

We will sail through the vast Trondheim Fjord, lined on both sides by rolling farmland, before reaching the coast and the open sea again. If you wish to disembark, Kristiansund offers the opportunity to take a scenic bus tour along the Atlantic Ocean Road, considered one of the most beautiful roads in the world. The road winds its way along islets and reefs, and after the tour, you can rejoin us in Molde.

Your destinations

Bergen

Bergen, the gateway to the fjords, is Norway’s second-largest city and a UNESCO World Heritage treasure. Perched on the west coast and embraced by seven mountains, this Nordic gem invites you to breathe in crisp mountain air and lose yourself in its storybook landscapes.

Must-Sees:

  • Bryggen Wharf: Once the bustling heart of Bergen’s medieval trade, this UNESCO site offers a fairytale harbour front, perfect for a lingering stroll.
  • Fjord Cruise: Take in the salt-tinged air and breathtaking views as you drift past cascading waterfalls, entranced by the silent grandeur of Norway’s fjords.
  • Mount Ulriken: By trail or by cable car, Ulriken lifts you above Bergen to a world of fresh air, rugged beauty and unforgettable vistas.
  • Fløibanen Funicular: Glide from the city centre to Mount Fløyen, where sweeping views, woodland trails and a touch of magic await.

Culinary Culture:
Bergen’s gastronomy is steeped in the salt and spray of the North Sea. Taste the delicate sweetness of freshly netted king crab, the buttery richness of persetorsk and the tang of wild berries gathered from nearby hills. Let the scent of warm skillingsboller cinnamon buns guide you into a café, where strong coffee offers comfort against the drizzle, and New Nordic flavours turn the city’s bounty into art on a plate.

Dive Deeper:
Venture beyond Bergen to wander through the orchards and waterfalls of Hardangerfjord, cruise the mighty Sognefjord, or hike the trails of Vidden between Fløyen and Ulriken. For a cultural escape, visit Edvard Grieg’s lakeside home, Troldhaugen, where music drifts through the air.

Good to Know:
The currency is the Norwegian krone (NOK). Bergen is easily explored on foot, while the Fløibanen funicular and Ulriken cable car help with the hills. Pack a rain jacket, as this is one of Europe’s wettest cities. In May, the Bergen International Festival brings music, theatre and celebration to the streets.

Tromsø

Nestled in the heart of the Northern Lights zone, Tromsø is a vibrant city where Arctic traditions meet cosmopolitan charm. Located 200 miles inside the Arctic Circle, this "Gateway to the Arctic" is renowned for its stunning landscapes and diverse cultural offerings. From snow-capped peaks to shimmering lakes, Tromsø is the perfect destination for both adventure and discovery.

Must-sees:

  • The Arctic Cathedral: A striking architectural icon inspired by the natural beauty of the Arctic.
  • The Tromsø Botanical Garden: The world’s northernmost botanical garden, showcasing unique Arctic flora.
  • Polaria Aquarium: A fascinating window into Arctic marine life and ecosystems.

Culinary culture:

Tromsø’s cuisine reflects its northern location and Sami heritage, offering a wealth of Arctic flavours. Fresh seafood takes centre stage, with dishes like king crab, Arctic char, and cod. Don’t miss a chance to try reindeer stew, a staple of Sami cooking, or sample craft beers from the world’s northernmost brewery. For an elevated dining experience, several restaurants in Tromsø specialise in modern Nordic cuisine paired with locally foraged ingredients.

Dive deeper:

Explore Tromsø’s cultural depth through its unique offerings. Visit the Tromsø Glassblowing Studio, where artisans create stunning works inspired by the Arctic landscape. Music enthusiasts should time their visit with the Insomnia Festival, a celebration of cutting-edge electronic music. Outdoor enthusiasts can join a reindeer sleigh ride or a snowmobile safari to immerse themselves in Arctic traditions and scenery.

Good to know:

Tromsø uses the Norwegian Krone (NOK). Winter is ideal for witnessing the aurora borealis, while summer brings the midnight sun and 24-hour daylight. The city is well-connected, with efficient buses and taxis. Dress warmly in layers to prepare for Tromsø’s cold but breathtaking climate.
