Oslo offers many attractions, most of them are located within walking distance of each other in Oslo’s compact city centre, while the famous museums on the Bygdøy peninsula area are easy to reach by public transportation. Top attractions in Oslo include Vigelandsparken Sculpture Park, the Opera House, Holmenkollen Ski Jump and the Viking Ship Museum.

Fjellheisen Cable Car - Day 2 of Stay

Your Included Excursions
Take the famous “Fjellheisen” (cable car) to Storsteinen (Big Rock) on Mount Fløya, 421 meters above sea level. The trip takes four minutes. From here you can enjoy the view of Tromsø and the surrounding islands and fjords.

Aurora Safari to Base Station - Day 3 of Stay

Your Included Excursions
Start your excursion with a transfer to the “base station” from where you will be able to comfortably enjoy the Northern Lights spectacle. There are four well located, undisturbed and suitable base stations that cover different areas with different weather regimes, allowing guides to choose the station with the best chances of clear sky. This gives you the best possible chance of experiencing the Northern Lights. Each station has a warm shelter, camp fires, outdoor benches, toilet facilities and a local host to tell their own stories. Around midnight you will then be brought back to Tromsø city centre.

Your Optional Excursions —

Our members can choose to add the following excursions at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee - subject to availability. 

Morning Reindeer Feeding and Sami Culture, 3-4 hours

Your Optional Excursions
Start your Sami experience by hand-feeding a herd of 300 reindeer before entering the gamme for a hot traditional meal cooked over the fire. Finish the day by gathering around the fire to enjoy the sounds of joiking (songs), Sami history and stories. 

Dog Sledding - Full Day

Your Optional Excursions
Say hello to a bunch of barking huskies that are ready for action (but still very friendly). You'll drive the dog sled into the white landscapes, through the beautiful Vassdalen valley - an uninhabited forest landscape surrounded by majestic mountains.

The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. Transfers: A return shared airport bus from Tromso Airport to Tromso is included in this offer (flight-inclusive offers only). Transfers are not available or included for guests whilst in Oslo when they choose to add this optional extension.
