Your Itinerary —
Arrival in Tromsø, make your way to your hotel located in the centre of this beautiful arctic city. Tromsø, is home to the world’s northernmost university, brewery and cathedral has two special “nicknames”: it is known as ‘Paris of the North’ - due to direct trade connections with France during the 19th century- and as “the Gateway to the Arctic”, because for many decades this city has been the centre for arctic hunting and the starting point for the most famous Arctic expeditions.
Day 2
Enjoy a Scandinavian breakfast at the hotel.
The day is yours at leisure, visit the Arctic Cathedral that with its large, angular form and light color can easily be associated with an iceberg. You can also enjoy a visit to Polaria, an adventure Centre with themes from the Polar Regions. If the weather is not too cloudy, you may also decide to take the famous “Fjellheisen” (cable car) that will take you to Storsteinen (Big Rock) on mount Fløya, 421 meters above sea level. The trip takes four minutes. From here you can enjoy the view of Tromsø and the surrounding islands and fjords.
This evening board your coach and head off to the airport. At 22h00 your northern lights flight departs. You fly high above skies maximising your chances of seeing the dancing lights, long distances are covered over a relatively short period of time allowing spectacular views from above. Champagne in hand, the memory of this excursion is bound to last a lifetime. Return back to the airport at 23h00 and coach transfer to the hotel
Enjoy a Scandinavian breakfast at the hotel.
Morning at leisure in Tromsø; for something active you can join in a snowmobile tour, husky tour or reindeer tour.
This evening, depart on your aurora husky visit at the wilderness camp near Tromsø (transfers included). Here you will be welcomed by huskies and have the opportunity to visit them, during the course of the evening you gather in a lavu and enjoy a hot meal of bacalao (local stick fish (cod) prepared with a tomato based sauce.

Reindeer Sledding

Northern Lights Dinner & Cruise
Set sail for the ocean, where the village and city lights disappear in the darkness. This total darkness is the perfect place to be to see the Northern lights. You will also have a very good view of Tromsø by night from the sea. A camera is almost a must for the occasion. This is a very comfortable way to search for the light - warm heated lounge, viewing deck, toilets. The hosts live on board during the winter season which gives a warm and homely atmosphere to your cruise.

Snowmobile Ride
You do not need special skills to operate a snowmobile. We start with a thorough introduction to security. The trail covers a distance of 15 km each way or 30 km in total. The starting point is 250m above sea level, and the guide will take you up to 875 m. You have a motorcycle for 2 people: a pilot and one passenger for every snowmobile, with the ability to change positions during the trip.
For safety reasons, the speed will be reduced during part of the excursion. The highest point of the course is a frozen lake, where you can accelerate. If time and weather permit, you can try ice fishing on the lake.
At the end of the trip, you will be served a hot meal in a lavvu (Sami tent). The price includes transfers, snowmobile safari, clothes and a lunch or dinner.
