Day 1: UK - Stavanger
On arrival at the airport of Stavanger Sola (SVG), head to the rent-a-car desk where you will be provided with the keys and documentation, and then you can start your trip to Stavanger.
On your first day you can discover this beautiful Norwegian city. There are many reasons for visiting Stavanger, the fourth largest city in Norway: the district of Straen is a historic area of the city with its 173 wooden houses built in the 18th and 19th centuries, the medieval cathedral and the Valberg tower.
You can enjoy your free time visiting city museums, discovering its medieval streets or just relaxing on one of its lovely terraces.

There you will have an opportunity to get on a boat that will take you through the Hillefjorden from Stavanger to Tau... Once there, you can head to Preikestolhytta, the starting point for those who are planning to climb the Pulpit Rock, offering an absolutely stunning view of the fjord.
Later, you can get closer to the shore, to visit the fjord of Light in Oanes, where you can get another boat to travel all along the fjord to its other side that will guide you to Lauvvik. When you finish your trip you can return by highway to Stavanger where you will have time to relax and enjoy the calm of this beautiful city.

After an early breakfast you can leave Stavanger for the Hordaland County, located along the Hardanger fjord. We recommend you pass through the famous underwater tunnels of Rennfast, the deepest in the world, and then board the ferry Mortavika to cross the fjord Bokna.
On your way you can also visit the old Åkra Fjord; enjoy the views offered by the National Park of Folgefonna and spend some unforgettable moments close to the Langfoss Falls, considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world.
At the end of the day, you will arrive at the shores of the Hardanger Fjord.

After breakfast you can continue your journey heading for Nærøyfjord. Follow another fantastic route, during which you will discover, among other things, the spectacular view of Hanguren and the village of Voss with its beautiful church called Vangskyrkja and enjoy a breathtaking panorama with snow-capped mountains as a background. We recommend you continue the road to reach Gudvangen, a beautiful Viking town with ancient narrow streets.
Also you can get a train called Fläm Train, an authentic masterpiece of engineering which runs by one of the steepest railways in the world, that will get you to Gudvangen.
In Gudvangen you will be able to start another exciting adventure! It’s advisable to hire a 2 hour long cruise to discover Nærøyfjord, the narrowest fjord in the world, and considered the most spectacular. With walls that reach 1,400 meters high, is was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Crossing the Nærøyfjord you will reach Kaupanger, where you will see numerous waterfalls and idyllic farms on the slopes of the mountains.
You will spend the night in the Area of Leikanger, right in front of the Sognefjord or the Fjord of Dreams.

Visiting the Nigardsbreen glacier, you can discover one of its arms, considered the most beautiful glacier in Norway.
As an option, you can see the glacier of emerald blue ice (about a 1 hour walk). After visiting the glacier, we advise you cross the Lusterfjord fjord by boat and stop to observe the Viking church called Urnes, made of wood (entrance ticket not included), a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
