If you choose the extension in Oslo, you will stay on your first and last night at the Thon Hotel Opera. This modern and stylish hotel is located in the centre of Bjorvika, right next to Oslo's famous opera house. From this hotel, you can easily access public transport and wonderful shopping areas as well as nightlife. This hotel also boasts a gym, a bar and restaurant.

In the evening, at 6:45 pm you will head off for a Northern Lights safari. While waiting for the sky to clear and the lights to appear, you will gather around a cosy bonfire that will keep you warm. Settle in with your beloved ones, share stories, gaze at the fire, while grilling a sausage and later enjoying a baked waffle on the outdoor fire: a truly unique Arctic experience.

To give you the utmost comfort and keeping you warm during this Arctic Safari is of main priority. Jump in a thermal winter suit that is provided and warm up with a hot coffee, tea or chocolate around the fire.

Stay overnight at Thon Hotel Tromso.

Have breakfast at the hotel. At 9:45 am, head off for a 4-hour husky sled ride (included in the tour).

Lean back in your sled and enjoy the moment, while an experienced musher drives you safely through the gorgeous mountain landscape of Kvaløya-Island. This tour is perfect for taking pictures, families with children or anyone who wants to go on an adventure, but relaxed and in comfort. Upon arrival at the centre, located 25 minutes outside Tromsø city, you will receive thermal overalls and boots to keep you warm and comfy during your stay.

Once you are well-equipped, a guide will take you for a 45 to 60-minute ride (depending on the weather conditions) in a sled shared with another guest.

When you return, 200 Alaskan huskies and their puppies eagerly await your visit. On a guided tour of the dog yard, you can learn about the Alaskan Husky breed, dog sled racing and animal welfare. After the tour, you can relax and warm up around an open fire in the cosy Gamme-Hut. Here, you will also be served hot drinks and lunch. You can try Bidos, a traditional Sami reindeer dish, or you can try a vegetarian option on request. A piece of our world-famous chocolate cake for dessert will be the final highlight before you make your way back to Tromsø.

In the evening, you can choose the optional Night Reindeer Sledding with Dinner and Chance of Northern Light (4.5 hours) or have the rest of the day free at your leisure.

DAY 4: TROMSO

Wake up and enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from the hotel. You will be transferred from the hotel to the airport by private minibus without assistance.
