The Norwegian Fjords region is one of the most spectacular natural landscapes and best preserved in the world. A setting that combines impressive images of fjords, majestic glaciers, waterfalls, crystalline lakes and snowy mountains, sprinkled with picturesque villages seemed straight out of a postcard.

Norway in a Nutshell will take you on a journey through some of the most beautiful scenery in Fjord Norway, and includes breathtaking experiences on the Bergen Railway, the Flåm Railway, the Aurlandsfjord, the Nærøyfjord and the steep Stalheimskleiva road.

As for accommodation, we have selected comfortable and cosy hotels in convenient locations, so you can be assured of a restful night after your day's adventures.

Your Itinerary —

Day 1: Arrival in Norway
Upon arrival in Bergen, take your coach transfer to your hotel & settle into your hotel for your 4 night adventure.

Day 2: Norway in a Nutshell
Today is devoted to an exciting day trip to the Fjords combining Train (train station is located next to the Hotel), bus and a Fjord cruise to observe the fjords.

Highlights will include the Famous Flamsbana and the Fjord Cruise.
Schedule: 08:45 - 18:00

Day 3: Floibanen Train
Take the Floibanen Mountain Train to get to the Mount Floyen and observe all Bergen...this mesmerising panorama will stay with you long after you leave Norway.

Day 4: Bergen
Today is free for you to explore Bergen at your leisure. A treasure trove of delights await including the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bryggen, Fløyen, the funicular railway and up to two dozen museums, including Troldhaugen, home of composer Edvard Grieg. Restaurants and café’s offer a wide range of locally sourced produce and don’t forget to try a delicious cinnamon bun.

Day 5: Departure
Spend some more time exploring this delightful Hanseatic town before heading to the airport in time for your return flight home.

Grand Hotel Terminus 4* —

You will be spending 4 nights in a Standard Room with daily breakfast.

Situated in Bergen, a 10-minute walk from Torgalmenningen Square, Grand Terminus offers a 131 comfortable rooms, a wellness centre with a gym, a sauna and complimentary bicycle rental. Guests at Grand Hotel Terminus can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet every morning, whilst the Terminus Whiskey Bar offers an extensive menu of snacks and drinks. 

The hotel has been awarded the prestigious Houens Fonds Diplom for its architecture, and its façade was granted protected heritage status in 2012. The grand atmosphere has been preserved, but the facilities have been upgraded to provide everything you expect from a modern 4* hotel.

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Shared shuttle transfers are included. Private transfers can be added at the next stage of booking for an additional fee.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Once the booking process is complete, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from Voyage Prive detailing your chosen travel arrangements.

Your official ATOL receipt and booking confirmation issued by the Tour Operator will follow within 5 days.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure. Generally, travel documents are sent via email however, in some cases they will be sent by post.

If you have booked Meet & Greet, you will receive a separate voucher for this via email.

Please do make sure that you add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list and check your Junk mailregularly for your travel documents.
