DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN TRONDHEIM

A green, flower-filled city, it's pleasant to stroll through the centre and old quarters. Don't miss Nidaros Cathedral, one of Northern Europe's finest Gothic ensembles.

DAY 2: HAVILA TRONDHEIM - BERGEN CRUISE
Sail through the vast Trondheim fjord, bordered by rolling farmland on either side, and enter the open coast and sea.
You can disembark at Kristiansund and be driven along the Atlantic Route, which has been called the most beautiful road in the world.

DAY 3: BERGEN
The last day of the cruise takes you through a diverse coastal landscape of bare rocky mountains and a maze of sounds and waterways between numerous islands.

Day 2: OSLO - TRONDHEIM
Journey by train to Trondheim and gaze out at breathtaking views of the Norwegian countryside, the longest lake Mjosa and the Vinstra region along the way.
Home to the impressive Nidaros Cathedral, a significant pilgrimage site, and settled by Vikings in the 10th century, Trondheim exudes charm with its cobblestone streets and colourful wooden buildings along the river.

Day 3: HAVILA TRONDHEIM - BERGEN CRUISE

Day 5: Bergen

Day 6: HARDANGER FJORD, BRANDHUSDALEN AND SORFJORDEN
Begin your hiking adventure from Bondhus. The trail is very easy and the hike takes around 30 minutes. Walking from the quay at Sundal, a hamlet on the shore of Mauranger Fjord, you will follow a historic path to Lake Bondhusvatnet.
In the late afternoon, board the electric boat to Hardanger, one of Norway's most romantic destinations, where the fjord is surrounded by rows of pink and white blossoming fruit trees in May/June against a backdrop of snow-capped peaks.

Day 7: FLAM - GUDVANGEN - BORGUND CHURCH
The first part of the train journey will take you to Myrdal station, located around 13 km from the village of Flåm, which is where you will board the Flåmsbana train.
Flåmsbana is one of the steepest train lines in the world, and the train journey takes you through fantastic nature, passing the Rallar road, steep mountains, breathtaking waterfalls, and going through 20 tunnels.
Join a cruise to Gudvangen (schedule permitting) - the village inhabited by the Vikings - sailing through the picturesque Sogne Fjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Today you return to Oslo. Continue through the magnificent scenery of the Norwegian highlands and along the coast of Lake Kroderen.
On arrival in Oslo, enjoy a 3-hour sightseeing tour with a local guide. The city tour includes a visit to Frogner Park, with all of Vigeland's sculptures. You will also see the magnificent Royal Palace, the Town Hall and the Akershus Fortress.

Flamsbana Train Ride
If you decide to take the optional train, the bus will drop you off at Voss station. The first part of the train journey takes you to Myrdal station. Myrdal station is a mountain station and crossroads about 13 km from the village of Flåm.
Here, you change trains for Flåmsbana. Flåmsbana is one of the steepest railroad lines in the world, and the train journey passes throughbeautiful natural scenery along the Rallar route with steep mountains, breathtaking waterfalls and 20 tunnels.
