Day 1: Bergen
Arrive at Bergen Airport. Enjoy a shared shuttle transfer to your hotel, situated in a highly-central location. Here, you will enjoy either a 3 or 4-Night Stay on a Bed and Breakfast Board Basis.

Bergen is Norway’s second largest city and the world’s only city surrounded by 7 mountains and 7 fjords. Bergen is, with good reason, called the Gateway to the Fjords due to its close proximity to the Norwegian fjords. This makes the city the perfect starting point for exploring the fjord region.

Overnight accommodation in Bergen
Day 2: Norway in a Nutshell - 8 am - 6 pm
Enjoy a day trip to the Fjords, via a train, bus and boat! Return to Bergen in the evening following a magical day. 

Travel by train from Bergen to Voss, before continuing by bus to Gudvangen. A 2-hour fjord cruise will bring you along the Nærøyfjord, Europe’s narrowest fjord channel and part of UNESCO’s list of world heritage sites, to Flåm. In Flåm you will board the Flåm Railway, which passes through wild and beautiful mountain scenery with waterfalls and steep mountain sides from the Sognefjord and up to a height of 900 metres. There is no other adhesion railway in the world running on normal tracks that is so steep over a long distance. Return to Bergen by train from Myrdal.

Day 3: Bergen, Floibanen Mountain Train Funicular
Enjoy a unique experience onboard the Floibanen Mountain Train in Bergen!

The Fløibanen funicular in Bergen is one of Norway’s best-known attractions. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the lower station from where the cruise ships dock. The journey up to Fløyen (320 m above sea level) takes about 8 minutes. The journey is an experience in itself, and at the top, you can enjoy fantastic views of Bergen. There are endless opportunities for walks on Fløyen, and you will also find Shops and Cafés. The funicular runs daily, all year round, from early morning to late evening.
