Lavvu Restaurant serves up delicious breakfasts and lunches. Think smoked salmon, dried meats, cheeses, yogurts, berries, and a variety of breads and traditional Norwegian waffles in the morning, and hearty locally-sourced treats for lunch.

Alta is the largest town in Norway's northernmost county and lies in the innermost part of the Altafjord. Despite its location, Alta is easily accessible by plane or car. The area offers forests, plateaus and both coastal and mountain landscapes.

 

As a result, outdoor activities are many and varied, such as hiking, mountain biking and fishing. Experience a warm and welcoming city that offers itself as a gateway to spectacular arctic nature. Witness the ethereal ambience of the midnight sun or the all-encompassing polar night.
