Offer 1: 8-night Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Windhoek

  • Arrival in Windhoek, the administrative, judicial, and economic capital.
  • Greeted by your professional English-speaking guide and briefed on the itinerary.

  • Windhoek offers a friendly atmosphere with modern hotels and shopping centres, reflecting Namibia's diverse culture.

  • Explore the small capital city of Namibia.

Day 2 and 3: Windhoek - Sesriem - Sossusvlei

  • Drive to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei through semi-desert territory with farms and picturesque landscapes.
  • Journey to Namib-Naukluft National Park, known for its majestic Naukluft mountain range.
  • Sesriem gate serves as the main entry point to Namib-Naukluft National Park.
  • Sossusvlei hosts some of Namibia's most spectacular sights, featuring the world's tallest dunes.
  • The best time to visit is during sunrise and sunset for vibrant, ever-changing colours.
  • Opportunity to climb one of the world's highest dunes.

Day 4: Namib Desert

Day 5: Swakopmund - Damaraland

  • Departure for Damaraland, renowned for its volcanic geological formations.
  • Encounter the Damara people known for their distinctive language characterized by clicks.
  • Possibility of spotting desert-adapted elephants.
  • Accommodation at Twyfelfontein Tented Camp with dinner and breakfast included.

 

Day 6 and 7: Damaraland - Southern Etosha

  • Early departure for Etosha National Park, one of Africa's largest and most extraordinary game reserves.
  • Etosha is characterized by vast white plains, waterholes, and diverse wildlife including lions, elephants, and rhinos.
  • Witness the impressive Etosha Pan, a massive salt pan visible even from space.

 

Day 8: Etosha - Waterberg

  • Transfer to Waterberg Plateau.

Day 9: Waterberg - Windhoek - Departure

Day 8: Etosha - Rundu

  • Departure for Rundu, the administrative capital of the West Kavango Region.

Day 9: Etosha - Divundu

  • Continue along the Caprivi Strip and spend the night along the Okavango River.
  • Sunset cruise and safari in Mahangu National Park with your guide.
  • Overnight stay at Nunda River Lodge or similar.

 

Day 10: Rundu - Divundu

  • Head towards Kongola, 100 km before Katima Mulilo, at the eastern end of the Caprivi Strip.
  • Katima Mulilo, situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, boasts lush vegetation.
  • Overnight stay at Camp Kwando Lodge or similar, followed by an afternoon safari from the lodge.

 

Day 11: Kongola

  • Journey to Kongola, located 100 km before Katima Mulilo, at the eastern end of the Caprivi Strip.
  • Overnight stay at Camp Kwando Lodge or similar, followed by an afternoon safari from the lodge.

 

Day 12: Kasane - Victoria Falls

  • Cross the border into Zimbabwe.
  • Accommodation at Shearwater Village or equivalent, with bed and breakfast.
  • Visit Victoria Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its spectacular waterfalls on the Zambezi River forming the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe.
  • Victoria Falls spans 1700 meters wide and approximately 130 meters high, offering a remarkable sight.

 

Day 13: Victoria Falls

  • After breakfast, transfer to Victoria Falls Airport for your return flight
