Day 1: Arrival in Namibia

Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, you will be greeted by your private guide. If time allows, take a quick spin past Windhoek’s highlights - from the iconic Christ Church to the lively Post Street Mall - before settling in for the night.

DAY 2: WINDHOEK - KALAHARI

After a relaxed breakfast, head south as the scenery shifts to the sweeping red sands of the Kalahari Desert. Along the way, your guide points out striking vistas and shares insights into the land’s unique geology and wildlife. On arrival at your lodge near Mariental, soak in the silence and wide-open skies - or opt for a Sundowner Dune Drive for your first taste of desert magic.

DAY 3: KALAHARI - NAMIB DESERT

Today, you’ll head west, where rugged plains give way to the otherworldly beauty of the Namib Desert. By afternoon, you’ll arrive at your lodge nestled at the foot of ancient dunes - perfect for unwinding and soaking in the desert stillness.

Day 4: Namib Desert

Rise early for one of the trip’s true highlights - a journey into the heart of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, where towering red dunes and sun-cracked clay pans create a surreal, cinematic landscape. Your guide shares the story of this ancient desert as you explore its sculpted sands and striking silence. Tonight, settle into a one-of-a-kind camp where you can roll your bed under the open sky and drift off beneath a blanket of stars. For an unforgettable start, opt for a sunrise balloon flight over the dunes, complete with a champagne breakfast.

DAY 5: NAMIB DESERT - SWAKOPMUND

After breakfast, journey through the raw, rugged beauty of the Namib as you make your way toward the coast. Stop at the Tropic of Capricorn for a classic photo op before reaching Swakopmund. Once checked into your hotel, the rest of the day is yours to explore palm-lined promenades, oceanfront cafés, and sand-swept streets at your own pace. Overnight stay and breakfast in Swakopmund.

DAY 6: SWAKOPMUND

Today, venture to the extraordinary where desert meets ocean on a  4x4 drive to Sandwich Harbour. Towering dunes and breathtaking views of the meeting sands and sea create a truly unforgettable experience.

 

DAY 7: SWAKOPMUND - DAMARALAND

After an early breakfast, head into Damaraland’s rugged terrain, where striking rock formations and rich culture await. Visit the UNESCO-listed Twyfelfontein rock engravings, the mysterious Petrified Forest, and the Damara Living Museum for a glimpse into traditional life. As the day ends, settle into your lodge surrounded by the region’s quiet beauty.

Day 8: Etosha National Park

Begin with a visit to a traditional Himba village, where you’ll glimpse the customs and lifestyle of these semi-nomadic people. DAY 10: ETOSHA - WINDHOEK

DAY 11: DEPARTURE FROM WINDHOEK

The minimum age for driving is 23 years and the driver must have held a valid driving licence for at least one year.

Use of the vehicle:

The vehicle may not be used to transport passengers or goods for payment, nor for towing operations, unless expressly authorised.

Use for motor sports, illegal activities or outside the borders of Namibia is prohibited unless authorised in writing.

 

 

Insurance and damages:

Exclusions: Insurance does not cover damage if the vehicle is driven by an unauthorised person, if it is driven off the road, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or if it is used in breach of the rental agreement.

 

 

Liability: The renter is liable for all damages not covered by the insurance, including damage, loss or theft of the vehicle.

 

 

Rental period and return:

The vehicle must be returned on the agreed date and in good condition. Otherwise, additional charges may apply.

 

 

Security Deposit:

A security deposit of NAD 2,500.00 per vehicle is required.

The deposit will be refunded if the vehicle is returned undamaged and with a full tank of fuel.

All major credit cards are accepted, except DINERS CLUB and AMERICAN EXPRESS.

Failure to return the vehicle on time may result in legal action and/or the vehicle being reported as stolen.

 

Cancellation conditions:

More than 30 days before collection: full refund

14-30 days before collection: penalty of 15% of the total amount

7-13 days before collection: 25% penalty

Less than 7 days or no-show: 50% penalty

 

 

Fines and liability:

The hirer is liable for any fines (e.g. traffic or parking violations) during the rental period.

The company is authorised to provide all information required by the authorities to handle such fines.

 

 

Reporting accidents:

In the event of an accident, loss or theft of the vehicle, the lessee must inform the rental company immediately and report the incident to the police within 24 hours.

The lessee must not admit fault or handle claims directly.

 

 

Payment and expenses:

Payment is due for all costs, including any penalties or damages.

In the event of delay, interest may be charged. All legal costs incurred for the recovery of amounts due shall be borne by the lessee.
