Your Itinerary

overnight flights each way make the duration of the trip 12 nights in total.

DAY 1: Depart UK.

DAY 2: Arrive Yangon.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel for two nights. Otherwise known as Rangoon, the former capital of Burma (Myanmar) is one of the most distinctive Southeast Asian cities. Tour this enigmatic city on an included sightseeing trip and explore the leafy downtown area, which still retains an old colonial charm, starting at Sule Pagoda.

According to legend, the pagoda is over 2500 years old but was rebuilt in the 1880s and used by the British as the nucleus for the city's grid pattern. Visit the Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha which, at over 246 feet, is thought to be one of the largest of its kind, before your sightseeing concludes with a visit to the gleaming Shwedagon Pagoda, towering almost 320 feet above the green cityscape of Yangon.

A wonder of the religious world, Shwedagon Pagoda is plated in gold and topped with 4531 diamonds, the largest being a single 76 carat diamond. Hotel – Sedona Yangon 4*
