During their tour, our members will follow the itineraries as detailed below.
10-Night Stay
Upon arrival in Yangon, you will be met and transferred by a guide to your hotel to check-in. Upon arrival, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and stay overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon - Bagan
Following breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a transfer to Yangon Airport before catching a flight to Nyaung-U. Upon arrival, you'll discover the wonders of the Ananda Temple which has been described as an architectural masterpiece and is certainly one of the most striking temples in Bagan. Discover its murals, dating from the 13th century. Next, proceed to the Manuha Temple; built in Mon style in 1059 and the Nanpaya temple, a sandstone monument. Discovery the elegant Htilominlo Temple, renowned for its fine plaster sculptures and glazed stoneware decorations. This great temple was built by King Htilominlo in 1218. The temple was damaged in the 1975 earthquake and was later renovated. Then, head to Thatbyinnyu, the largest temple in Bagan and the Shwezigon Pagoda, where pilgrims come to honor Buddha. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the Mynkaba village located in the south. Stop at the Mynkaba-Gubaukkyi Temple, with its impressive murals and frescos - the temple is also one of the oldest temples of Bagan dating from 1113. Then, you will head to a traditional lacquer-ware workshop where you can observe skilled artisans produce one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Visit the Shwegugyi Temple, also known as the Great Golden Cave - an example of Bagan architecture in the middle ages. Continue your exploration by taking a path that leads to Dhammayangyi Pagoda and Shwesandaw Pagoda, before heading back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Bagan - Mandalay
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer via a private air conditioned vehicle to Sagaing (approx. 4 hour drive). Enjoy a unique experience and get an insight of nun’s daily lives. It is time to do offering to the nuns at nunnery. After you have presented an offering to each of the nuns, you will have time to learn and discuss about the daily lives of nuns and their point of view. After lunch, transfer in a private air conditioned vehicle to Mandalay (approx. 1 hour drive). Located on the banks of the Irrawaddy River, Mandalay is Burma's second largest city, with about six million inhabitants. It was its last royal capital, between 1860 and 1885, during the Konbaung dynasty. It was then called the "city of jewels", for its renowned jade. It is now the administrative capital of the Mandalay region. Upon arrival in Mandalay, transfer in a private air conditioned vehicle for the day’s activities before heading to your hotel to check-in and enjoy an overnight stay.
After your breakfast, transfer in a private air conditioned vehicle for the day’s activities. Depart to Ava (approx. 30-minute drive), where ancient traditions still thrive. Discover the city aboard small traditional carriages. Visit the ruins of the Royal Palace, the Watchtower, the beautiful Bagaya teak monastery, and the Maha Aung Mye Bonzon brick and stucco monastery. You will enjoy the view of the remarkable ruins, monastic buildings, and stupas. Depart to Amarapura and walk on the picturesque bridge over stilts of U Bein - entirely built in teak wood. After lunch, continue to the Irrawaddy River pier and embark on a local boat to Mingun. The former royal city of the vicinity of Mandalay, Mingun is reached after approximately 50min of navigation. Visit of the Mingun Pagoda which was built by King Bodawpaya in the early 19th century and which should have been the largest in the world. The death of the sovereign in 1819 and the earthquake of 1838 stopped this grand project. It is now forbidden to climb to the top of the pagoda because the accesses are not at all secure. Moreover, this practice degrades the monument. Another stop is planned at the Mingun Bell (90 tons, 4 m high and 5 m diameter), the second-biggest bell in the world after that of Moscow. The visit to the site in the late afternoon is particularly nice at sunset. You will see the beautiful white pagoda of Hsinbyume. Afterwards, return to Mandalay to enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 6: Mandalay - Heho - Pindaya
After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred via a private air conditioned vehicle to Mandalay Airport to take your flight to Heho (Transfer time approximately 1 hour – flight time approximately 1h30).Then, transfer to Pindaya, situated in the Taunggyi District in Shan State in Burma. It is known for its spectacular limestone caves which have become popular tourist destinations in recent years. Here, in these caves, one can find carvings of Buddha all around, created by devotees. After lunch, you'll visit the natural caves of Pindaya where you'll be amazed by this massive cave where you can admire then thousands of Buddha images found inside. Afterwards, you will visit a workshop on making Shan paper umbrellas, a specialty of the region. Then, you will continue to the Plan Bee farm in town. First, you will discover how many types of honey and other products which are produced by local people from this area. Then, you will taste the 5 kinds of honey with bread under a big shady tree over the lake view. Afterwards, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast at your hotel, depart towards Nyaung Shwe. Then, board your private wooden boat for the day excursion on Inle Lake. Explore villages built on stilts and floating gardens, getting a chance to learn about the life and culture of the lake’s residents. Next, we will hop in a boat and take a watery journey to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Inle Lake’s most sacred temple. You will have the chance to admire five Buddha images whose gold leaf offerings have given them a peculiar shape. Continue by boat to Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery which houses dozens of Shan Buddha images, which is famous for its ‘jumping cats’. Then you can explore the local crafts at the weaving village of Inpawkhone and at the cheroot factory where they make the Burmese cigars by hand. Return to your hotel by motorised pirogue for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Inle Lake - Indein - Inle Lake
Today, you will head to the Pa-Oh Indein village located on the western shores of Inle Lake. Enjoy a walk through the village before climbing up the hill with foam-covered stairs. At the top, you will be greeted by a Buddha amidst many stupas and groves. From the summit, you will also be rewarded with magnificent views of the surroundings.The religious complex of Indein is undoubtedly one of the most impressive sites of the shores of the lake. It is composed of hundreds of small stupas covered with mosses and greenery. Return to Nyaung Shwe .Then, you’ll visit the Red Mountain Estate Vineyards & Winery, where you can enjoy some wine tasting and admire the sunset before returning to your hotel.

Day 10: Inle Lake - Heho - Yangon
After breakfast at the hotel, you'll be transferred to Heho airport for your flight to Yangon. In the afternoon, you’ll experience the beauty of the colonial architecture in Yangon by discovering some old buildings with Victorian facades built by the British in the 19th century such as the Post office or the stand hotel. Wander along the streets and enjoy different kinds of local street foods. Visit Bogyoke Aung San Market (former Scott’s Market), where shopper’s favorite you can browse through the wide selection of Myanmar handicrafts and other goods. (Note: Market is closed on Mondays and public holidays). Late in the afternoon, you will visit the Shwedagon Pagoda - one of the wonders of the world. Enjoy watching the breathtaking views of the golden stupa and stay overnight at your hotel.
Day 11: Departure from Yangon
After breakfast, enjoy free time until you're transferred to the airport for your return flight home.
3-Night Ngapali Extension
Day 10: Inle Lake - Heho - Thandwe - Ngapali
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer by boat to Nyaung Shwe and by road to Heho airport (1h) and enjoy a flight to Thandwe. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Ngapali and spend the rest of the day at leisure before enjoying an overnight stay. Please Note: Depending on the timetable of the Heho / Thandwe flight, this program may be redesigned.
Day 11 & 12: Ngapali
On these days, you'll enjoy free time in Ngapali, exploring your beautiful surroundings.
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a transfer to Thandwe airport and a flight to Yangon. In the afternoon, you’ll experience the beauty of the colonial architecture in Yangon by discovering some old buildings with Victorian facades built by the British in the 19th century such as the Post office or the stand hotel.
