The old Mediterranean port of Kotor Bay, Montenegro is remarkable for its wonderful coastal scenery and the many pretty villages and towns that dot the shore line. Long before it was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979, the Bay has been a magnet for sailors, traders and sight-seers alike.

Dobrota
Backed by rocky cliffs that tumble steeply into the placid waters of Montenegro’s most famous bay, Dobrota’s setting is as dramatic as the village is peaceful. Situated in this delightful waterfront village is the narrow and peaceful coastal road which winds around Kotor Bay - perfect for a truly magnificent leisurely drive. The promenade is pretty special too, stretching for several kilometres along the sea, dotted with stone jetties and splendid old palaces.

From your balcony or terrace you will enjoy a breath-taking view of Kotor Bay, with its dramatic mountains and sparking blue waters! Situated on the hillside of Dobrota, these apartments are in a quiet location and yet just a stone throw away from the town of Kotor. The entrance to the UNESCO-listed Kotor Old Town is approximately 1.5 miles away while the medieval town of Perast is a short scenic drive along the coast.

The apartments have been designed to make the most of the stunning view - all have terraces or balconies and are decorated in a modern yet homely fashion. Once you’ve had your fill of sightseeing, you can take a dip in the generously sized pool shared by the four apartments or lay back on a large sunbathing terrace and take in the stunning view of the Bay of Kotor in all of its glory.

These one and two bedroom apartments have a modern yet homely feel and have tiled or wooden floors throughout. They have an open plan lounge/kitchen-diner, the modern fitted kitchen is well-equipped and are perfect for serving up light meals. The lounge areas are comfortably furnished, air-conditioned, and have French door access out to the balcony or terrace which all have amazing views of the Bay of  Kotor – ideal for al fresco dining.
The two bedroom apartments have double bedroom and a twin bedroom, while the one bedroom apartments have a double bedroom. All have a modern shower room that is also equipped with a washing machine.

All apartments are air conditioned have a sea view, LCD TV with satellite channels and free Wi-fi.
Outside there is private secured parking, small children’s play area and a good sized pool with a large sun terrace and sun loungers to soak up the sun during the glorious Montenegrin summer.

All linen and towels, including pool towels are provided, as well as a weekly cleaning service. 

Your Board Basis —

This offer is based on a self-catering stay. A fully equipped kitchen is provided. Just for you: a welcome bottle of wine. 

Relax and enjoy the comfort of having your own self-catering apartment. Cook in your well-appointed kitchen complete with fridge/freezer, kettle, 4 ring ceramic hob, oven and coffee machine.

Visit the locals surrounding villages and discover the many superb restaurants wherein you can sample the delicious local cuisine and experience the charming village culture.  

Your Time —

Warm summer days can be spent sunbathing or taking a refreshing dip in the cool waters of Kotor Bay; or perhaps people watching or enjoying a sunset on your private balcony, ideal for somewhere to enjoy a light snack or an evening meal.

If you tire of the laid back atmosphere, then head into nearby Kotor old town with its bustling, narrow cobbled streets, or Porto Montenegro in Tivat with its boutique shops and excellent restaurants. Its welcoming and helpful owners and great location make it an ideal base for exploring the area.

Flights: return flights from London Gatwick to Tivat are included (20kg hold baggage allowance with Montenegro Airlines).

Transfers: Assistance from Explore Montenegro’s on the ground team is provided, including meeting at Tivat airport.

Car Hire: Is included (approximately 30 minute drive from the airport). You will recieve an Economy Sized Car Hire with Sixt (please note driver must be over 23 and have held licence for at least 1 year driver details to be provided at booking).

Please note: flight details are given as a guide only and may change. We will however notify you in advance if flights are more than 2 hours outside the time range given. Flights are non changeable and non refundable at time of booking.

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our 'Meet and Greet' service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Car Hire —

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.
The minimum age for driving this hire car is 23 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year. You must present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit.

ATOL Protected —

Travel Documents —

Once the booking process is complete, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from Voyage Prive detailing your chosen travel arrangements.

Your official ATOL receipt and booking confirmation issued by the Tour Operator will follow within 5 days.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.  Generally, travel documents are sent via email however, in some cases they will be sent by post.

If you have booked Meet & Greet, you will receive a separate voucher for this via email.

Please do make sure that you add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list and check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.
