Your Itinerary In Detail —
Day 1: Nairobi
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta airport, you will be met by our representatives and transferred to The Eka Hotel.
Overnight stay at The Eka Hotel or similar in a Superior Room on bed & breakfast basis.
(Check in time is approximately around 3pm and will be adhered to. Clients arriving in the middle of the night must book a pre-night as they will not be permitted to wait in the hotel lobby for check-in at 3pm).
Day 2: Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve
Leaving Nairobi after breakfast, you will travel towards Kenya's fertile highlands and head down the rift escarpment on the road built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II.
On the way spot the charming chapel built at the foot of the escarpment. Pass the impressive Longonot Earth Satellite Station as you head across the valley to Narok; continue your travels across acres of wheat and barley, before reaching the Masai Mara in time for lunch.
Following lunch, set off on your first game drive, returning to the camp as the sun sets.
Overnight stay at Mara Fig Tree Camp or similar in the standard tent on a full board basis.
Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve
Following an early breakfast, depart on a morning game drive, returning to the camp mid-morning. After lunch, and perhaps a siesta, set off on another game drive, returning to the camp as the sun sets.
(It is possible to pre-book an optional early morning Balloon Safari at a supplement)
Overnight stay at Mara Fig tree Camp or similar in a Standard Tent on a full board basis.
Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve – Naivasha
Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast, travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand.
Now travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for herds of giraffes and gazelle as you head up the Mai-Mahiu, before arriving at Lake Naivasha around midday. Following lunch and a siesta, depart on an afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha, with the rest of the afternoon to enjoy at your own leisure.
Overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa or similar on a full board basis.
Day 5: Naivasha - Nairobi
Following an early breakfast, you will depart Naivasha. Arrive in Kenya's bustling capital city of Nairobi by mid-day lunch in Nbo.
After lunch, you will be dropped off at SGR train terminal for a direct train from Nbo to Mba which departs 15h00/arrival Mba 20h08.
Upon arrival in Mombasa, you will transfer to Diani (approximately 2 hours). You will reach the Baobab Beach Resort for a late dinner (you can buy meals/drinks at own charge on the train before).
If you choose the flight option (at the next stage of the booking process), then after lunch in Nbo, you will be transferred to JKA for your flight to Mombasa in late afternoon. Upon arrival in the Mombasa airport, you will be transferred to Baobab Beach Resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Upgrade your Standard Room to the Superior Room and stay in total comfort in a stylishly spacious haven. The Superior Room features a luxurious bathroom with marble and dramatic lighting along with elegant furnishings. The room is 63sq metres with two queen-size beds and can accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
