Your Destination

The Masai Mara

The Masai Mara is known as one of Africa's greatest Wildlife Reserves, situated in southwest Kenya. It is famous for its abundance of big cats - lion, leopard and cheetah - the Great Wildebeest Migration and its countless zebras.

Meet the local Maasai people, well known for their distinctive custom and dress, and discover a different way of life. When on a game drive, experience what many people only dream of in a lifetime - days spent side by side with some of the greatest members of the animal kingdom, seen in their natural habitat.

Lake Nakuru

This national park is a sight to behold: grassy plains dotted pockets of lush forest and a vast lake which flamingos flock too, mingling with black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, hippos and giraffes.  Retreat from the lowlands and enter the forested area, a favourite haunt of lionesses and leopards alike who love sleeping in the trees.

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli is one of Kenya's oldest and most-visited parks. Much of its magic is derived from the fact that it is towered over by the snow-capped bulk of Mount Kilimanjaro. Comparatively compact, the park is dotted with a series of bright green swamps, in which great herds of elephants can often be seen half-submerged amongst the papyrus grasses.

Amboseli is world-famous for its populations of large mammals, most especially elephants of which there are around 700. The swamps are a centre of activity for elephants, hippos, buffaloes and abundant water birds. The surrounding flat grasslands are home to grazing antelopes. Spotted hyenas are plentiful, as are jackals, warthogs, olive baboons and vervet monkeys.

Tsavo West National Park

Tsavo is nearly 22,000km2, being the largest national park in Kenya and one of the largest in the world.  The park was split into two due to the railway going from Mombasa to the interior of Kenya. With fifty million gallons of gushing water arriving from the Mzima Springs down to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West offers a rugged wilderness that is comparatively opposing to Tsavo East.

Comprised of open grasslands, Acacia woodlands, rocky ridges and magnificent game viewing, find yourself gazing upon a myriad of elephants, rhino, hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Taita Hills Game Reserve

Taita Hills Reserve is a private wildlife conservancy of 28,000 acres at the foot of the Taita Hills bordering Tsavo West National Park.

The reserve provides a safe environment to over 50 species of mammals and 300 species of birds within 28,000 acres of rolling savanna and woodland habitats. Large numbers of wildlife come to drink at the waterholes, so Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge provides a rare opportunity to view animals at close proximity in their natural habitat.

Diani Beach

With a flawless stretch of white-sand beach hugged by lush forest and kissed by surfable waves, it's no wonder Diani Beach is so popular. This resort town scores points with a diverse crowd: party people, families, honeymooners, backpackers and water sports enthusiasts.

When lazing in a hammock gets tiring, visit the coral mosques with their archways that overlook the open ocean, venture into the sacred forests where guides hug trees that speak in their ancestors’ voices, or take in the monkey sanctuary – all are good ways to experience more of the coast than the considerable charms of sun and sand.

Optional Excursions

Our members can choose to add a Balloon Safari at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee.

This is a great way to appreciate the sheer scale of the magnificent landscape and will make your holiday even more memorable.

At the height of the migration, Keekorok is surrounded by a swarming mass of animals and there is hardly need to go on a game drive. Keekorok's charm lies in the liberal use of local building materials. Sandstone, cedar wood and other indigenous materials are used in all rooms and public areas.
