When lazing in a hammock gets tiring, visit the coral mosques with their archways that overlook the open ocean, venture into the sacred forests where guides hug trees that speak in their ancestors’ voices, or take in the monkey sanctuary – all are good ways to experience more of the coast than the considerable charms of sun and sand.

Your Itinerary —
Day 1: Nairobi
Upon arrival into Nairobi, clients will be met and transferred to the Eka Hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
Overnight at Eka Hotel superior room on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara
In the morning you will be transferred to Wilson Domestic Airport for your internal flight to Masai Mara Keekerok Airstrip. Before departure you can choose to indulge in a 2-course meal with a complimentary drink. Upon arrival in Masai Mara you will be greeted by welcome drinks before departing on a 1hr game drive to your lodge.
Upon arrival at the Spirit of Masai Mara you will once again be greeted by welcome drinks and led to your luxury hut, followed by a 3-course lunch.
After a relaxed game drive where the local experts will explain the local habitat to you, sit down and enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner in the lodge.

Day 3: Full Game Drive
At 5:30am-6am you will woken up by the enticing aroma of tea or coffee so you can spend the entire day discovering the impressive African wildlife. You will have a packed breakfast and lunch with you that can be eaten whenever you like. Then return to the lodge for your 3-course dinner and settle down for some star gazing with the lodge's telescope.

Day 3: Game Drive / Lodge Activities
A full English breakfast will be served between 8-9am so you can have more of a lie-in! This can be followed by an optional Conservancy Drive or Walk from 9am-1pm where you will be introduced to the in-depth world of lions. This will be followed by a 2-course lunch and the afternoon at leisure. Today will be rounded off by a pool side BBQ (weather permitting) & a Masai Cultural Talk.

Day 4: Cultural Day & Visit to the Rhino Sanctuary
Enjoy a full continental or English breakfast then depart for the Rhino Sanctuary at 8am. This drive will once more take you through the Masai Mara Game Reserve & through Talek Gate which is famous for their cheetahs& tame Eland. Once you are at the Rhino Sanctuary, this will be the best chance for you to see the endangered White Rhino.
This will be followed by a 2-course lunch and a trip to the Aitong Market, the largest of the traditional markets in Masai Mara. This colourful and busy market is a great way to interact with the Masai people. Afterwards, you will learn even more about the Mara Masai culture with a trip to a local school. This cultural trip will be completed by dinner at the lodge followed by a traditional Masai dance.

Day 5: Day at Leisure with Activities Afternoon at the lodge (Golf or Cooking)
Masai Golf is like no other, it involves traditional Masai bows & arrows. Clients will take turns to fire their arrows towards the hole...may the best man win! Or perhaps Swahili Cookery classes are more your thing, the lodge's head chef will introduce you to the intricacies of Swahili cooking with a range of recipes for clients to choose from!
After a 2-course lunch on the sun terrace, the rest of the day is at leisure. Your dinner will be served slightly earlier today as you will be taken on a Night Game Drive around the Conservancy, the perfect opportunity to spot a leopard!

Day 6: Adventure Day
Today you will have a choice of activities:
- 4X4 driving will give you a chance to drive yourself around the conservancy under the watchful eye of your guide.
- An afternoon game drive or walk on the conservancy
- A demonstration that will take place in the Secrets of Masai Mara's garden where you will elarn about the traditional herbs used to cure, this is an excellent experience and a great way to find out about the deep knowledge of local fauna.
This will be followed by a 3-course dinner t the lodge.

Day 7: Final Wishes & Departure for Your Beach Side Resort
After breakfast, a final game drive & a 2-course lunch you will be transferred to Keekerok for you flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival you will be transferred to the Maji Beach Boutique Hotel for your 4 or 6 night stay in this beautiful beach side resort on a full board basis.

Day 11 or 13: Transfer to EKA Hotel
After breakfast you will be transferred to the EKA hotel for your final night in Kenya before flying back to the UK on the following day.
