Your Destinations —
Tsavo is made up of two separate parks, Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park. Located in Coast Province of Kenya in between Nairobi City and Mombasa. Tsavo is nearly 22,000km2, being the largest national park in Kenya and one of the largest in the world.
The park was split into two due to the railway going from Mombasa to the interior of Kenya. Tsavo East is definitely worth a trip - visitors can set off on a game drive across the seemingly empty wilderness and return to camp three hours later without having seen a single other vehicle.
The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilomtere long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust – red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species.
The Lodge is situated in the midst of the Taita Hills Sanctuary, a private wildlife conservancy of 28,000 acres at the foot of the Taita Hills bordering Tsavo West National Park, one of the world's largest game reserves.
The Sanctuary provides a safe environment to over 50 species of mammals and 300 species of birds within 28,000 acres of rolling savanna and woodland habitats. Large numbers of wildlife come to drink at the waterholes, so Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge provides a rare opportunity to view animals at close proximity in their natural habitat.
The Sanctuary is a success story in sustainable conservation where wildlife - including elephant, lion, buffalo and giraffe - thrive. Game drives are tightly controlled to ensure that animals are not harassed and some areas are completely closed to vehicles. Day 1: Mombasa – Neptune Beach Resort
Upon arrival into Moi international airport, you will be met by our driver outside customs and immigration hall. Then transfer to Neptune Beach Resort.

Day 2: Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park
After an early breakfast, pick up from your hotel. Drive north, along the main highway towards Nairobi, following the route of the railway line built by the British late in the nineteenth century. The road passes through the warehouses and workshops on the outskirts of Mombasa, climbing steadily and soon the vast plains of Tsavo become visible in the distance, with the rolling Taita Hills on the horizon. You will arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and later enjoy time for relaxation before setting off back into the park for your afternoon game drive. Return to the lodge as the sun sets.

Day 3: Tsavo East – Diani
Early breakfast at the lodge followed by game drive in the park. Later continue your journey back to Mombasa South, aiming to reach your beach hotel late afternoon.

Day 4: Taita Hills - Diani
Early morning game drive in the sanctuary. After breakfast drive back to Mombasa South, aiming to reach your beach hotel late afternoon.

Your All Inclusive Stay
The hotel has one main dining room that serves all meals in a buffet style set up, breakfast from 7:00 am to 10:00 am and can be extended to noon on demand, lunch from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm and dinner from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
During meal times soft drinks, fruit juices, water, house wine, local beer, tea and coffee are served. The cuisine is of international standards and there are theme nights that are organised during the week.
The 'All Inclusive' bar offers soft drinks, fresh juices, beers and wines from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. From 6:00 pm to midnight, all local spirits are served. There is also a cash bar that serves all international drinks and bottled mineral water at a cost.
