Your Itinerary In Detail —
Day 1 & 2
Day 1:
Welcome and assistance on arrival at Queen Alia International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Amman for an overnight stay.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2:
After breakfast, pick up your car around 9am and spend the day visiting Amman, the Capital. Today we suggest you visit the desert castles of Azraq, Amra & Kharaneh! The first castle to be visited is Qasr Al-Kharaneh, located 55km from Amman. Qasr Amra is located 26km southwest of Azraq, on the main road. Lastly, visit Qasr Al Azraq, which was badly affected by an earthquake in 1927, but the castle remains magnificent!
Return to the hotel in Amman for dinner. Overnight in Amman.
Day 3-5
Day 3:
After breakfast, visit the ancient city of Jerash (about 45km from Amman). This is the second major site in Jordan after Petra, and is considered as one of the best preserved Roman provincial cities in the Near East. After lunch (at leisure) visit Ajloun castle, perched on top of a mountain and built in the 17th Century. Marvel superb views over the Jordan Valley. Return to your hotel in Amman for dinner. Overnight in Amman.
Day 4:
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of leisure visiting the iconic Dead Sea for swimming and relaxing. The Dead Sea is 75km long and 15km wide, covering an area of 920 km2, almost twice the size of Lake Geneva! Proceed back late afternoon to Amman for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 5:
After breakfast, drive along the Kingsway road, and stop to explore Madaba, the city of mosaics! Next stop is Mount Nebo, the presumed site of Moses' tomb, rising to an altitude of 840m. Continue to Kerak, with its fortess presiding over the valley, where we suggest you pause for lunch. Your last destination is Petra via the desert road, where you will check-in to the second hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6-8
Day 6:
After breakfast, spend your day visiting Petra, the Pink City. Marvel at the sheer number of monuments (nearly 800) of this fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arguably one of the most important archaeological sites in the Middle East, and certainly the most famous. Admire the impressive beauty of Al Khazneh (The Treasury), Qasr El Bint, and the Roman Cardo and Theatre. We suggest you take lunch at the restaurant on site (not included). In the afternoon, climb to Mount El Deir or the Monastery. Your next destination is Wadi Rum, a two-hour drive away from Petra. Here, you will witness one of the most beautiful deserts in the world, filled with magnificent pink sandstone mountains, canyons, and towering dunes. Your Wadi Rum overnight experience will enchant you as you sleep beneath the stars, share traditional cuisine, and feel the warmth of Bedouin hospitality.
Day 7:
After breakfast in the desert of Wadi Rum, you will have the optional to tour in a local 4x4 vehicle in the desert for 1.5 hours before having lunch at a bedouin camp. This tour is not included in your package, but can be arranged on site. Drive from Wadi Rum to Amman to return your car to your hotel by late afternoon. Overnight in Amman.
Day 8:
After breakfast, you will be taken to the airport and receive assistance with airport procedures for your departure (including customs).

Your Destination —
Full to the brim with epic scenery, ancient history, captivating cities and bucketlist attractions, Jordan is a popular tourist destination that offers its guests a true immersion into the charms of the Middle East.
While Jordan offers a variety of spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Sites, none are more beloved than Petra, a fascinating archaeological city that sits within a mountain gorge and features beautiful 'rose-tinted' stone. Frequently referred to as one of the seven new Wonders of the World, this architectural masterpiece is a must-stop spot on any tourist's itinerary in Jordan
For those hoping to escape the arid climate of the desert, we recommend taking advantage of Jordan's coastline with a visit to the Dead Sea. Thanks to the incredibly high salt quantities in the water, here, you can float atop the waves, make the most of the natural minerals and their healing properties and enjoy a well deserved rest, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life!
