Day 2: Amman - Jerash - Petra
After breakfast, visit of the city center of the capital Amman with visits to sites and museums such as the Archaeological Museum, the Folklore Museum, the citadel, the blue mosque and the amphitheatre. Wherever you look, you'll history!Departure for the ancient Roman city of Jerash where you will have the opportunity to see the beautiful cobblestone streets and colonnades, temples, theatres, spacious public squares, baths, fountains and city walls. Departure for Petra.

After breakfast, head for Petra, the pink city of the Nabataeans, one of the 7 Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Enter the city by a narrow gorge of 1km long, flanked on each side by cliffs 80 meters high! You will notice the colours and the dazzling formations of the rocks.The site is massive and contains hundreds of rock-cut tombs, ancient treasures, Roman-style theatres, temples, sacrificial altars, and colonnaded streets.

Day 4: Wadi Rum - Aqaba
After breakfast, you will explore other important sites, including Wadi Rum.
Explore Wadi Rum with a 1h30 jeep ride through the Jordanian desert, an incredible experience! Wadi Rum, called by the locals "The Valley of the Moon", is a breathtaking, timeless, and virtually untouched by humanity and its destructive forces. It is the passing of time and desert wind that have sculpted the towering skyscrapers, so elegantly described by T.E. Lawrence as "Vast, echoing and god-like".

Day 6: Aqaba - Madaba - Mont Nebo - Dead Sea
After breakfast, venture to Madaba, a city known for the famous 6th century mosaic of Jerusalem and the Holy Land and for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics as well as the visit of St. George's Church.Subsequently, departure for Mount Nebo (the site only because the church is closed for renovation). This city is mentioned in the Bible as the place where Moses had a view of the Promised Land in which he would never enter.
Next you will depart for the Dead Sea, a unique place in the world at 410 meters below the sea level. The Jordan's Dead Sea Coast is one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the world and it remains as attractive for international visitors today as it did for kings, emperors, traders and prophets of the antiquity. The main attraction of the Dead Sea is, of course, the soothing and unusually salty water. The salt content of the water is 31.5%, making it almost impossible to sink.
The water also contains 21 minerals, including high levels of magnesium, sodium, potassium and bromine, and 12 minerals that are found in no other body of water in the world.

Day 7 or 8: Dead Sea - Amman - United Kingdom
After breakfast you will be transferred from your hotel to the airport for your return flight back to the UK.
