Day 2: Amman – Jerash – Ajloun – Amman
After breakfast, a full day visit starting with Jerash, ‘the Jewel of the North’ - one of the largest and most well-preserved sites of Roman architecture in the world outside Italy. A close second to Petra on the list of favourite destinations in Jordan, the ancient city of Jerash boasts an unbroken chain of human occupation dating back more than 6,500 years. The city's golden age came under Roman rule and the site is now generally acknowledged to be one of the best-preserved Roman provincial towns in the world. Hidden for centuries in sand before being excavated and restored over the past 70 years, Jerash reveals a fine example of the grand, formal provincial Roman urbanism that is found throughout the Middle East, comprising paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, handsome theatres, spacious public squares and plazas, baths, fountains and city walls pierced by towers and gates. And continue to Ajloun Castle for visit, Drive to hotel in Amman for overnight.
Jerash is the epitome of comprehensive and formal Roman town planning throughout the Middle East. It is adorned with cobbled, column-lined streets, huge temples on the crest of the hills, charming theatres, spacious public squares, baths, fountains and walls pierced by towers and gates.
After lunch, we continue to Ajloun. This town has a very impressive fortress (Qalaat al Rabad), perched on a hilltop and built in the 12th century, Saladin's time, to defend the region, control the local iron mines and prevent the Crusaders from crossing into Jerusalem. From the top you have a magnificent view of the Jordan Valley.
You then return to the hotel in Anman
Day 3: Amman - Iraq El Amir - Dead Sea - Amman
After breakfast, enjoy a full day visiting Iraq El Amir, and continue on to the Dead Sea, one of the most spectacular natural and spiritual landscapes in the world and the lowest point on Earth. Without a doubt the world’s most amazing place, the Jordan Rift Valley is a dramatic, beautiful landscape, where the Dead Sea is over 400m below sea level. This vast stretch of water receives a number of incoming rivers, including the River Jordan. Once the waters reach the Dead Sea they are land-locked and have nowhere to go, so they evaporate, leaving behind a dense, rich, cocktail of salts and minerals that supply industry, agriculture and medicine with some of its finest products. The Dead Sea is flanked by mountains to the east and the rolling hills of Jerusalem to the west, giving it an almost other-worldly beauty. Although sparsely populated and serenely quiet now, the area is believed to have been home to five Biblical cities: Sodom, Gomorrah, Adman, Zebouin and Zoar (Bela). Return to the hotel in Amman for overnight stay.
Day 4: Amman - King's Highway - Madaba - Nébo - Kerak - Petra
Breakfast at the hotel and leave for the King’s Highway, and, visit to Madaba. The city is known for its incredible Byzantine mosaics. Visit the Saint-Georges de Madaba church, with its ‘map of Palestine’, retracing the geography of the Byzantine Near East.
Visit Mount. Nebo, 10 km northwest of Madaba, said to be the site of Moses' tomb, Mount Nebo culminates at an altitude of 840 m. It became a place of universal pilgrimage from the beginning of the Christian era.
Continue to the fortress of Kerak, where you’ll have lunch. Continue to Petra via the desert road. Dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 5 and 6 : Petra - Wadi Rum- Amman
After breakfast, enjoy a full day visit to the Rose City of Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Petra was built by the Arab Nabatean more than 2000 years ago. The Nabatean carved their monumental tombs, palaces, temples and treasury from the desert's natural rose-coloured rocks and sandstones. Cross Le Cardo Romain and visit the Qasr El Bint, the only temple still standing and in a good state of conservation. Lunch at the restaurant on site.
In the afternoon, climb to Mount El Deir or the Monastery (optional). Just 2 hours drive south of Petra, a unique experience in the most magnificent place in the world, Wadi Rum is one of the most beautiful deserts in the world, filled with magnificent pink sandstone mountains, canyons and dunes. Wadi Rum ‘stay a night’ Experience is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to sleep under the stars, taste local food, and enjoy Bedouin generosity and local hospitality.
On day 6, after breakfast, you will join the group to the Wadi Rum visit, Jordan’s vast and echoing desert, for a 4x4 jeep ride. Stunning in its natural beauty, Wadi Rum epitomises the romance of the desert. With its "moonscape" of ancient valleys and towering sandstone mountains rising out of the sand, Wadi Rum is also home to several Bedouin tribes who live in scattered camps throughout the area. Climbers are especially attracted to Wadi Rum because of its sheer granite and sandstone cliffs, while hikers enjoy its vast empty spaces. Wadi Rum is probably best known because of its connection with the enigmatic British officer T.E. Lawrence, who was based here during the Great Arab Revolt of 1917-18. Much of David Lean’s Lawrence of Arabia was filmed in Wadi Rum. , Return to Amman for overnight stay.

Welcome to Jordan! —
Jordan
Full to the brim with epic scenery, ancient history, captivating cities and bucketlist attractions, Jordan is a popular tourist destination that offers its guests a true immersion into the charms of the Middle East.
While Jordan offers a variety of spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Sites, none are more beloved than Petra, a fascinating archaeological city that sits within a mountain gorge and features beautiful 'rose-tinted' stone. Frequently referred to as one of the seven new Wonders of the World, this architectural masterpiece is a must-stop spot on any tourist's itinerary in Jordan.
For those hoping to escape the arid climate of the desert, we recommend taking advantage of Jordan's coastline with a visit to the Dead Sea. Thanks to the incredibly high salt quantities in the water, here, you can float atop the waves, make the most of the natural minerals and their healing properties and enjoy a well deserved rest, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life!
