DAY 2: AMMAN ⇄ JERASH
Set off on a tour of Jerash, the second-largest site in Jordan. Hidden under the sand for several centuries and restored over a period of 70 years, it's now considered one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the Middle East. Admire the pinkish-orange limestone dazzling in the rays of the sun at dawn and dusk, and explore the cobbled streets lined with colonnades, huge temples and theatres, thermal baths and fountains, and pierced walls.
After lunch, return to Amman for a city tour to discover the secrets of the Jordanian capital. Built on seven hills between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley, Amman takes its name from the Ammonites, a people descended from Abraham. From this vast hill, you can admire a sumptuous view of the city of Amman and the treasures of its historic centre, including its citadel and Roman acropolis.

DAY 3: AMMAN → PETRA
Today, you’ll travel along the historic Kings’ Highway to Madaba, the famed "city of mosaics", home to 14 remarkable churches and a renowned school of mosaic artisans. Step inside St. George’s Church to admire its astonishing mid-6th-century mosaic map of Palestine, discovered in 1898 and impressively preserved. Continue to Mount Nebo, a revered pilgrimage site since the dawn of Christianity, before heading to the valley below to explore the fortress of Kerak and enjoy a hearty lunch. Your journey then takes you along the desert road toward Petra.

DAY 4: PETRA
Spend an unforgettable day exploring Petra, the legendary “rose city,” recognised as the eighth wonder of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With more than 800 monuments spread across its vast landscape, Petra is one of the Middle East’s most iconic destinations.
Walk through the dramatic Siq, a narrow gorge carved by ancient forces, until the breathtaking façade of Al Khazneh, the Treasury, comes into view, adorned with Greco-Roman details. Beyond it, discover a maze of carved structures: temples, royal tombs, baths, arched gateways, cobbled streets and the impressive Roman Theatre with its 3,000 seats. Continue along the Roman Cardo to visit "Qasr El Bint", the only fully standing temple, remarkably well preserved.

DAY 6: WADI RUM → AMMAN
Start your day with an unforgettable hot air balloon ride over the Wadi Rum desert, floating quietly above its vast dunes and striking sandstone formations as the sun rises. After this unique experience, return to your camp for breakfast before heading toward the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth at 417 metres below sea level. Known as the world’s richest natural source of salts and minerals, its waters are reputed for their therapeutic properties and extraordinary buoyancy, allowing visitors to float effortlessly.
Check into your hotel by the Dead Sea and take time to relax, swim and enjoy the facilities. Lunch will be served at the hotel, overlooking this remarkable landscape. In the afternoon, travel back to Amman by road.
