You will sleep on comfortable futons placed on the tatami. As is customary in Japanese temple hotels, the onsen bathroom is shared (not mixed). The toilet and sink are usually in the room but not guaranteed.
Please note:
- Rooms in Western hotels (all hotels except the ryokan in Hakone) have by default 2 separate single beds (twin rooms).
- In Japan, a densely populated country where everything is small, the 3* hotels are of very good quality but the rooms are often quite narrow (12 to 16m2 depending on the hotel for twin rooms). For more comfort, choose the 4* option.
- For triple rooms, we cannot guarantee in all hotels a single room for 3 people. Depending on the hotel, a double and a single room may be offered.
- In the case of a group order (superior of 5 people), it is possible, depending on the availability of the hotels, that not all the members of the group will be accommodated in the same hotel.
- Please note that if there is a single supplement, it will be applied in all accommodations except in the Ryokan. Indeed, as this is a traditional accommodation, there are no single rooms but you will find spacious rooms that can accommodate up to 5 people.
